Fate - Lyra's P.O.V

I smile at everyone till Sabine walks in. She looks at me then at Hera. Hera's seems to understand what this means and shakes her head. Sabine sighs and looks at me. "Lyra we need to tell you something." Sabine say as she sits in front of Kanan and me.

"What is it? What's wrong?" I ask them and they look at each other quickly. To my surprise my father speaks up.

"If I need to leave I will I don't want to risk going over again... Not with Lyra so close." He says and I look up at him. He still doubts he's safe for me.

"No its just hard to say. It came as a great shock to us. We both know it'll be a worse shock for you." Sabine says and I look at both Hera and Sabine.

"Tell me I'm ready to know." I say firmly.

"Luna was unsure if you were having a girl but from the image it showed a girl... And a boy... And another girl." Sabine whispers looking down. My mouth falls open and I look down at my stomach.

"Th-three?" I ask and Hera nods her head. I look down again my arms around my stomach. I look up at Kanan with lost eyes to see his worried ones. I breath in and I hear Steel speak up.

"I'm sorry Lyra this...." He says but drifts. Steel stands in the door way. I get up walk over to him and slowly rap my arms around him.

"It was the only way." I whisper as he hugs me back. Suddenly everything hits me and I start to laugh and cry with joy. "Two bouncing baby girls and one strong little punching baby boy." I say as I pull away. I look at the others. They seemed shocked that I'm taking this so lightly but Kanan is the first one to join me in celebrating.

"It's a gift from the force." He says getting up and hugging me. I hug him back and the girls join in till we hear the door open.

Ahsoka walks in and her face, and force signature, gives away that she's afraid. "Kanan I need your help we have-." Ahsoka starts but we all get thrown to the right as the ship gets hit. We slide to the side and hit the other wall. Kanan lands on top of me and I cry out in pain. We hit the floor this time I'm on top of Kanan not him on me. I look up at the others and see there standing up. Hera leans against the wall and helps me up. "As I was saying I need you to man a gun, Hera take control of the Ghost, Ezra fix the shields there still down, Sabine help him. Zeb and Chopper are firing the other guns. Lyra head to the Medi bay where you'll be safe." She says and she's gone out the door.

"Alright lets go guys. Lyra do as Ahsoka said." Kanan tells me before he's gone up the gun ladder. Once the others leave I run down the hallway but not to the Medi bay. I run to my room for my stuff. I'm not going to sit by and wait for a statues report.
