Dreams 2 - Lyra's P.O.V

I don't move and I keep my breathing as even as possible. I open myself to anyone in my room and I sense Beway. I use the force to turn on the lights and I sit up. Beway sits in the chair across the room from me. He looks at me and gets up to leave. I don't want to be alone not now.

"Wait." I cry out as he goes to the door.

"What is it?" He asks walking over to me. He kneels next to me.

"Will my father be alright? I can't lose him." I say and Beway looks at me with sad eyes.

"I do not know. If he does not learn to control his anger you will be effected." He says. I look down at my stomach. My child would be hurt too. I swing my legs over the side of my bed and rap my arm around my stomach.

"Are you okay Lyra?" He asks and I look up at him with pained eyes. I shake my head and look down at the floor. I know he can feel my panic. "You can tell me." He says softly.

"Vader wants my child. He forced me and Steel to...." I say letting my sentience drift. "Will my child be effected?" I ask and he nods his head. I finally understand what he's saying and I jump up and run out the door. I tare down the hallway and shove Kanan out of the way. I dash down the hall and slid down the ladder. Kanan chaces me but I'm out of the Ghost before he can even get to the ladder.

"Lyra!" He yells out into the cold dark night. He runs after me. I can feel is worry and determination. I run not stopping till I am sure I can't out run him. I find the thickest patch of grass and dive into it just in time. I hear Kanan stop and look around.

"Lyra please come back." He yells looking around unsure of where I am because I have blocked myself from him. I jump up and start to run from him. I see a tower in the distance and run to it. Once I get close enough I see troopers and they see me. They start to shot at me as I get a cold feeling. I turn around but get thrown into the tower by someone with the force. I fall straight to the ground groaning.

"Well well well look who we have here. Young Lyra odd seeing you out here and alone. Where are your rebel friends?" Agent Kallus asks me with a evil smile on his face. I start to get up but feel the cold metal barrel of a blaster. I hold my breath as it presses harder into my head. I feel Kanan's force signature growing stronger as he gets closer.

I hear someone coming over to us. "Ah Lyra it's wonderful to see you again and in such a state as this." Ash says smiling down at me. I glare up at him. I don't say anything I just look away from him.

"Kanan don't come here please it's to dangerous go back." I tell him but this only gives him reason to come closer.

"Lyra hold on I'm on my way." He tells me and I shake my head as troopers pick me up and drag me to the transport. I jerk out of there hands and run for the field as they start to shot at me. One stray shot manages to hit me in the center of my back sending me down as I scream in agony. "Lyra!" Kanan yells through the force.

I try to get up but someone starts to pull my hair and drag me to the imperial transport. I scream in pain as tears spill from my eyes. "Let her go!" Kanan yells running at Ash from the field in front of us. Ash drops me and ignites his lightsaber and brings his lightsaber up to block himself from Kanan's attack. He shoves Ash back and kneels next to me. He puts a soft hand on my back and I look up fighting to get up to stay awake. Ash uses the force to shove his way into my head. "Your father will die and I will make you watch." He tells me.

"Get out! Get out of my head!" I tell as I feel my eyes close and someone pick me up. They jump into something off the ground and I know it's Kanan jumping into the Ghost. When I wake up I'm in bed with Kanan my head throbbing. I groan before I go back to sleep but I feel Kanan tighten his grip on me before I do.
