I didn't even have to turn around. I knew exactly who it was. I smelt him as soon as he walked in.
"I don't," I said, getting another cigarette out and lighting it.
"Right, of course you don't, princess," He said with a smirk
I didn't turn around. My eyes were fixed on the sky, looking at all the stars shining so brightly. I turned around, not realising how close Mattheo was to me. Like literally inches away.
"Can I help you?" I said, slighting my head to the side with my eyebrows raised.
"I don't know, can you?" He copied my actions by slighting his head and raising his eyebrows.
I shook my head and rolled my eyes. Suddenly, I felt two hands grab me tightly around my shoulders.
"Less of the attitude, princess. Do you know who I am? " He said, a low toned voice staring straight into my eyes.
"Oh, I didn't realise you didn't know who you were. You're Mattheo Riddle, " I said with the same amount of attitude that he showed me.
He bit his lip to stop him from showing a smile. I bet he has faced very little people who would go up against him. But for me, being the disappointment of the family, I have nothing to lose.
His hand had moved from my shoulder to around my neck, not hard, just tight enough to know he meant business.
He moved his head to my ear and whispered harshly, "I didn't realise that you had a death wish y/n."
"Oh, first name bases now. Well, Mattheo. What did you want to know?"
He looked me in my eyes. He just stared. Like he was completely dead behind them.
"I want to know what your brother is up to," He said cold-heartedly like no emotions were shown anymore.
"Why do you want to know?" I said concerned
"Just fucking tell me y/n. What is your brother up to" He slammed his hand against the banister and the other hand grabbed my neck tighter
I was completely shocked. He changed from having abit of banter to full on under interrogation. Like he had to find out or something would happen.
"He's finding out information from a Professor here at Hogwarts" I said gingerly
"What information"
"I don't know. All I got told is a Professor here at hogwarts has some information that will help defeat Lord Voldermout"
Suddenly he let go of my neck and left the astronomy tower. He slammed the door behind him, and I didn't see him for the rest of the evening.
Mattheo pov
I used floo flame to get to the Malfoy Manor. I walked into the dining room where I saw my father sitting down with some death eaters.
"Father," I said sternly
"Ahhh, my son. Please sit. I'm sure there's much to discuss, " he said, gesturing a seat next to him while with the other hand strokes that snake of his.
I sit down next to him. I looked around the table to find that Bellatrix, Lucius, Pettigrew, and Snape were all sat down.
"So my boy, what information did y/n give you?" Voldermout said, looking straight at me
"Not much father, she said that her brother is trying to find out information from one of the professors about you," I said, looking down
"And that's all she told you?" He said with an angry voice
"I don't think they tell her much. She's nothing like them, " I said quietly
I looked up at him slowly. He was smiling with an evil grin.
"Something tells me that you have started to get feelings for the mudblood,"
"No, father, it's strictly business,"
"Of course it is, my boy. Well, maybe we can convince her to be an undercover spy like Snape here. " He laughed in an evil way
Everyone at the table started to laugh.
"Now go and find out more information. I need to know what he's planning. "
I stood up from the table and quickly used the floo flame to get back to hogwarts.
I rushed to Draco room and shut the door behind me.
I told Draco everything that went on in the astronomy tower and at the Manor.
"Shit, Riddle. What are you going to do? You can't keep threatening the girl she'll know you're using her." Draco said.
"I know. I have got a plan but it's a dangerous one."
Draco gestured for me to carry on talking by raising his eyebrows.
"I'm going to make y/n Potter fall in love with me."
