We all rushed over to Harry. He opened the case, and there it was. It was a beautiful piece of jewellery surrounded by this dark magic.
"What you waiting for?" Ron questioned
"I've got nothing to destroy it with. The sword vanished, " Harry said annoyingly
"Well this is fucking brilliant" Theo made a sarcastic comment
The room went silent until
"Harry" we all turned our heads to Hermione "Do you remember when you fought the Basilisk? You stabbed it with the sword of griffindor."
"Yeah but what's your point Hermione?"
She let's out a little snigger "You see the Basilisk will be infused with the power of the sword. You just need to grab another fang"
Everyone's faces lit up "Hermione you're a genius"
Smiles lit up the room before someone spoke up
"I'll get it" Mattheo said
"Absolutely not. She might trust you but I don't" Harry said with frustration
"It's fine I'll go with him and meet you back here. We won't be long" I said with a smile trying to defuse the situation
"Y/n it's dangerous. You could get hurt" Ron said worryingly
I looked at him and shook my head.
"I'm a pretty good fighter. I'll be fine"
"Plus she's with me" Mattheo said with a hit of venom
"Is that meant to fill me with confidence?" Harry said back with the same amount of attitude
I started to walk towards the door
"If we're not back in half an hour you can call a search party. OK?"
I was met with unwelcoming faces
"Fine. Be safe" Harry said short
"Always am"
I gestured for Mattheo to follow.
We made our way down to the girls bathroom. We hid around corners and dodged as many spells as we could.
We ran in holding eachothers hands and panting out of breath as we slammed the door behind us.
"Made it" I said half smiling
"Just about" He said pushing a strand of hair out of my face and behind my ear
I looked into those brown eyes. For someone who has been a nightmare to read this entire year I could see his emotions for the first time. And he was scared.
I moved my right hand up to his cheek and rested it there.
"I love you"
A small weary smile left his face.
"I love you too princess"
We moved closer to eachother. He rested his hands on my hips and started to push me until my back hit the sinks. He looked me in the eyes and whispered
"Ayaeeh aaah ssss seyythaa"
The sinks started to open up into a tunnel.
"So you can speak parseltongue?"
He let out a little laugh. "My father is the dark lord after all. Don't you think I'll inherit something from him?"
I did a little smile on my face before turning to the tunnel.
"Ladies first" I said gesturing to Mattheo
He shook his head before jumping down. It seemed like a while before I heard him land at the bottom.
"Come on princess" He shouted
I did a few deep breaths before breathing in one last one and jumping.
Into the darkness I was going down this winding tunnel until I finally hit the bottom where I landed on all these bones.
"Oh this is just lovely" I said with a hint of sarcastium
Mattheo stood in front of me and held out his hand. I reached out to grab it and he pulled me up. We were toe to toe. He gave me a small smile before peaking my lips.
"That will do princess"
And he turned and headed down all these different tunnels. They were long and winding. It was dark and scary. But there was a question on my mind and I couldn't help but ask.
"Matty?"
"Yes y/n?"
"How do you know where your going?"
"It's better not ask questions that you don't want the answers to" He said short and snappy
I didn't really want to know because I have a feeling he knew about what happened to Harry and Ginny down here. This is where one of horcruxes was destroyed after all.
Soon we were greeted by this huge creature.
"Oh my merlin"
This thing never ended. My brother fought this in his second year. No wonder everyone was a bit terrified by him.
Mattheo reached across and grabbed a fang. He handed it to me.
"Thanks," I said slowly. I received many gifts from boys before but never a Basilisk fang.
"Now you can't say I never get you anything," He said with a smirk.
"Just what I always wanted Mr Riddle" I said seductively
"Anything for you Miss Potter" He said in the same tone as he walked up to me
Our eyes met again but this time we didn't hold back. Our mouths crashed together. We soon found our perfect rhythm. Our hands were exploring our body's and Mattheo moved his lips down to my jawline.
"Mattheo"
He answered by humming into my neck.
"We haven't got time for this"
He groaned before looking up at me and pressing his forhead against mine.
"Just a quicky" He said as he grabbed my arse with both hands
"Mattheo" I said raising my eyebrows at him
He smiled "I can't help it if my girlfriend looks like this" He gave a quick peak on my nose
"You're insane Matty"
He raised his eyebrows at me with that cheeky grin plastered over his face.
"Fine I'll promise when this is over you'll have the best night of your life"
He bit his lip and held out his pinky finger
I pouted at him before doing the same.
"Now come on I don't want to keep Harry waiting"
He crashed his lips against mine again
"Come on then princess"
