A few more weeks went by in a flash. The boys and Pansy were still up to something but wouldn't reveal what. Even me trying to sneakily find out.
"Morning," I said, yawning
"Morning," Pansy shouted from the bathroom.
I stretched, leaning up against my bed frame. A small smile came over my face as the morning sunrise hit it. What a lovely Saturday morning. especially given the day.
As on que. Shadow was scratching at the window with letters in her mouth and a present.
I smiled as I opened the window to gather all the letters. I gave her a scratch on the top of her head before she flew off.
I fell back into bed when Pansy walked out.
"Someone's popular," she said, laughing
I smiled
"Who are these off?" She said with a confused expression on her face
"Oh, they are probably just birthday cards,"
Her face dropped. Her eyes went so wide I thought they would pop out of her head.
"It's your birthday?" She said, barely coming out above a whisper
"Yes, finally 18. So you know I can finally drink and smoke now, " I said, laughing
She laughed along with me til she ran over to give me a big hug
"I'm so sorry I didn't realise it was your birthday. I'm going to try and make it up to you, "
She quickly rushed to get dressed, and she was putting on her shoes.
"Honestly, Pansy, don't worry. I'm fine. "
"Don't be daft, I've already thought of a plan,"
Suddenly she was out the door and gone. I smiled at her reaction. I'm not a big birthday celebrate person, so the thought of having a party in my name is my idea of hell.
I got dressed in a lovely green dress. The weather is meant to be all sunny today. I put my hair down and did some light makeup.
I then left to go to the common room where all the boys were sitting.
"Morning," I said as I was heading towards the door
"Morning, and where yiu going looking like that?" Enzo said cheerfully
"For breakfast, of course."
"Bit dressed up for breakfast, aren't you?" Draco sneered
"I'm allowed today,"
"Oh, and why that?"
"Because it's not every day your girl turns 18"
The boys all looked at each other, confused.
"It's your birthday?" Mattheo said, raising his eyebrows
I smiled and nodded
"Well happy fucking birthday. You kept that quiet, " Theo shouted
"Well, you've all been busy doing something that I just simply never got chance."
They all jumped up to wish me happy birthday and big hugs. Part from one boy who had to whisper in my ear.
"Do you want your present now or later?"
I looked at him confused.
"What present? You didn't even know it was my birthday"
He bit his bottom lip before saying
"What makes you think it's wrapped?"
I stared at him. I bit the inside of my cheeks to stop me from smiling.
I rolled my eyes at him
"I hate you"
He let out a little laugh and a smirk plastered all over his face
"Well princess you better tell your body that because the way your breathing has got heavier and your cheeks are flushed says otherwise"
I instantly put my hands to my cheeks to cover them
"I'm going to breakfast" I stormed out of the room
"What did you say now Riddle" Draco said
"What makes you think I said anything" Mattheo said with a smirk
"Because of that" Draco pointed to the smirk on his face
The day went by so quickly. I had the best day with the boys exploring the castle grounds and just having some great quality time.
The evening started to come round, and the sun was beginning to set.
"Right, I think we should be heading over now," Enzo said, standing up from the blanket
I frowned at him. "Heading over where?"
"Near the black lake, of course."
Still with the same expression on my face
"Why?"
"Because that's where all the beautiful sunset are obviously." He said in a sarcastic tone
"Obviously," I said in the same sarcastic tone,
We headed towards the black lake where I saw Pansy stand there next to a big bonfire, a table full of food and drinks with music blasting in the background.
"Surprise," she squealed
I ran up to her, giving her a big hug
"Is this what you've been doing all day?"
She nodded
"The most difficult thing was not getting caught building this monster on school grounds," pointing to the huge fire
"I love it, thank you,"
This is my idea of a great time. A few close friends, something to keep me warm and great food and drinks.
We all sat down and started to drink and talk.
"Who's up for a game of spicy truth or dare?"
