Chapter 47

So the dinner was already upon me. I finished getting ready by doing the final touches to my makeup.

"So what do you think?" I said to Pansy, turning around in a circle

She wolf whistled at me

"The boys wouldn't be able to keep their eyes off you,"

I turned to look in the mirror one more time, and I ran my hands over the dress.

"Do you think it's a little much?" I said, pulling a face at myself

"If you don't get out of the room and in that common room, I'm dragging you. You look fucking stunning"

I smiled and turned to her. I let out a long breath

"Let's get going then,"

We made our way to the common room where all the boys were sitting in our usual spot.

We walked towards them together and for the first time I witnessed the boys absolutely speechless.

"Someone pinch me the boys have stopped talking" Pansy shouted sarcastically

I laughed

"Y/n you look beautiful" Enzo said

"Thank you" I said with a smirk on my face

I felt a hand sliver it way onto my waist. I looked to the side to see those big brown eyes staring at me.

"Stunning as always princess"

I moved his hand from around my waist and linked his arm with mine.

"Scrub up well yourself"

He was wearing all black. Shirt, trousers and blazer. Basically something that you would find in Dracos wardrobe.

We looked like we matched our outfits which was typical.

"Let's go" I said suggesting towards the door.

"See you later guys" I shouted as we left.

We walked down the halls to Slughorns classroom. But I felt his stare on the side of my face.

"Take a picture it will last longer" I said slow blinking towards him

"I can't help myself. If you were mine. I would.."

He stopped himself before finishing the sentence. I looked over at him, and he was biting his bottom lip.

"You would what?" I said, raising my eyebrows at him

"I don't think you want to know the end of that sentence, princess," He said, looking deep into my eyes

"Try me," I said with a smirk

A huge grin came over his face, and just before he was about to open his mouth.

"Y/n," a voice yelled

I turned around to see Harry and Hermione running towards us.

I gave Mattheo a wink before turning around.

"Hey guys," I said

Harry was giving Mattheo a death look. And saw that we had linked arms.

"What are you doing with him?" His eyes are fixed to his, and his knuckles were turning white.

"We were just walking together" I said waving my hands in front of his face to break the contact.

"Do you forget that his one of them?" Harry said with his face hard as nails.

I'm not going to lie I try and push that part to the very back of my memory. It's hard as it is trying to move on without thinking about Mattheo mark.

"Let's just get inside" Hermione said trying to break the tension

Mattheo and Harry were pretty much face to face. Neither one was backing down. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Mattheo arm into the classroom.

"Ahh Potter, Granger, Riddle and Potter. Find your seats" Slughorn announced while gesturing to the table.

Of course, I am sitting in between these two idiots. This evening is going to be a long one.

The meal went quite quickly, to be honest. Slughorn was leading all the conversations, and I was trying to keep my head down as much as possible to avoid getting asked.

I looked up to Cormac, staring at me. He was licking his fingers that had chocolate on the end of them. I gave him a confused look when he continued.

Obviously someone else seen. As I was putting a spoonful of profiteroles into my mouth. A hand grabbed the top of my thigh. I nearly chocked on them as my eyes went wide.

"Seems that potter has gotten too excited about the profiteroles," Slughorn said all innocently

Mattheo said just above a whisper so only I could hear "Yes the profiteroles."

My eyes widened as I turned my head slightly in his direction. His face was staring straight ahead but had a little smirk plastered there.

I rolled my eyes and continued to eat. Cormac was still looking at me so I thought I'll wind the boys up.

I was getting the spoon and digging it into my ice cream. Slowly and seductively putting it in and out of my mouth. And blinking slowly.

I looked up to see Cormac mouth practically on the floor and I turned to the side to see Mattheo staring at my lips with those dark eyes.

We were snapped back into reality by Slughorn saying

"My lord look at the time off to bed everyone"

We all stood up slowly and made our way to the door.

"Thank you for a lovely evening professor. The profiteroles were heavenly" I said with a smirk looking towards the boys

We started to make our way to the common room. When a hand grabbed mine.

"Can I have a word?" Cormac said

"Sure" I looked around to see Mattheo standing at the end of the corridor waiting

"Just that you look very pretty tonight and was wondering if you thought more about our date?"

"I'm not going to lie I've had so much going on lately but as soon as I'm up for it I'll let you know" I said with a smile

He kissed my hand before saying

"Night y/n"

I smiled and walked off towards Mattheo who by the way had a face like thunder.

"What did he want?"

"Oh the usual. Just asking me out on a date"

"He did what?" He face was becoming more angry by the second "What did you say?"

I smirked at him "I said I'll let him know"

I continued to walk but before I entered the common room I turned to him.

"Jealousy is a good look on you"
