It didn't really take long to come up with a plan. It was simple: Get Diana outta there before the crew comeback. The only problem is now I need some equipment to help me. Why is this a problem? I don't have any with me since I left it all in Liberty City.
But then there was one place I thought of. I never thought I'd be going back there.
I was about to leave my bedroom until I decided it would be better to prep everything else there to save time and since it was closer to the crew's house.
I turned back around and went over to my draw to grab a new pair of clothes which were black tights, a black top and hoodie. After putting them on, I took my hair out of its usual high-ponytail and put my long dark-brown hair into a low bun this time.
I grabbed my car keys and left the house, hoping that nothing will go wrong.
Time skip~
I was in Vinewood Hills for the second time today. I was listening to the radio to keep my mind off of things but as I was driving closer to Hillcrest Avenue, the memories of my childhood were coming back to me. Don't get me wrong, I never had a bad childhood. But like I said before, I never thought I'd be coming back here.
I turned into the Hillcrest Ave and drove all the way to the end of the street. A lot of things haven't changed about this street except for the fact that everything looks more modern.
I turned into a tall fancy gate which had those intricate designs on them. I got out the car and punched in the numbers into the security lock and the doors automatically opened. I had a feeling the code would be my brother's birthday instead not mine. As I hopped back into the car, I checked if any of the neighbours saw me. Luckily, no one did.
The gates automatically closed as my car drove down the slightly long driveway. Once I arrived at the house, I drove around the fountain and parked the car at the front of the big and elegant house. I stepped out and looked at the place more closely. Minus how dirty the place looked now, it still looked exactly the same.
My eyes started to water. This place reminded me too much of my mother.
Flashback~
I noticed my mother's eyes starting to close weakly as she laid there in the hospital bed.
"Mom," I frantically said as I jumped out of my seat and held her hand, Christian also doing the same thing." Don't you dare close your eyes and leave us."
She squeezed both of our hands gently." Don't worry, you know I'll never leave you two." She whispered weakly. I didn't hold back the tears that were now rushing out of my eyes. She didn't have that much time left. I could hear sniffling coming from my brother but I never took my eyes off of my mother.
"Don't cry." She said." Now you're gonna make me cry." She joked and we both lightly laughed and cried at the same time.
"I love you mom." Christian said sadly and sniffed.
"I...love...you." I said in between sniffs.
She squeezed out hands again, but more weakly this time.
"I love you...too." As she said each word, her voice became weaker." Christian...and...Carmen." I felt her hand go limp. I cried even more and kept holding her hand, hoping she'll come back. Christian came around the bed and put his arm around me, comforting me. We sat there for a while and just cried, neither of us saying a word.
End of Flashback~
She never told us that she had terminal cancer since she didn't want us to worry. Of course Christian and I were mad at her not telling us but it was short-lived when we realised we didn't have that long left with our mom. She died almost two years ago.
