Carmen~
"I'm gonna go drop off Carmen back to her place." Vanoss announced as we arrived into the living room. I noticed that Mini Ladd was missing, probably in his room or something.
"Aww, how come?" Daithi asked with a hint of sadness in his voice. I found that funny since I just met them and I barely know them.
"I have to meet up with a friend." I stated." But I can come back later tonight." I offered so I can sound polite, I didn't really want to come back here just yet.
Please say no, please say no I kept repeating in my head like a broken record.
"Oh, none of us are gonna be here since we're all gonna do a raid on a drug trade." Vanoss explained. Yes! I cheered mentally." But you can come with."
I just had to jinx it didn't I?
"You sure I should come with? I've never really done a raid before and I don't think I'm ready to do that kinda stuff just yet." I said, trying to get out of it. At least that wasn't a lie. I have heard stories about raids. Those are very different from what I used to do. Raids are more chaotic and violent while thievery is all about stealth and are less violent.
I then thought it would be the perfect time to get Diana out of there since no one will be at home.
"Yeah she's right. This raid is important and we can't risk anything going wrong." Delirious said." No offence." He added, mistaking the change of expression on my face.
"None taken." I replied." Uh, can we go now?" I asked Vanoss.
"I just need to talk to the boys then I'll meet you outside. It won't take too long." He said and I started leaving. I walked to the car(which I love) and tried to open the door but it was locked.
"Of course it's locked." I muttered then leaned on the car. Wonder what they're talking about.
A few minutes later, Vanoss came out the door, looking slight red. Was he blushing?
"Off the car." He ordered as he pressed the alarm button which unlocked the car. I straightened myself then hopped into the passenger seat.
"So what were you guys talking about?" I asked once Vanoss hopped into the driver's seat and closed the door.
"We were talking about you actually." He said honestly as he revved up the car and started driving." The whole crew like you."
"Even Terroriser?" I asked, even though we both knew what the answer was to that.
"Don't worry, he's always like that. You guys will probably be friends sooner or later." He reassured. I didn't really know how to become friends with Terroriser or gain his trust since all he does is glare at me. I need to so he can stop assuming that I can't be trusted. He's right though: I shouldn't be trusted, but I can't tell them that. I haven't even been in Vanoss Crew for like a day and I'm already sorta plotting something against them. And I can't really leave so soon or else they'll know that something's up.
After that, it then became awkward between us as he kept driving, just the song on the radio reduced it. Since I didn't really like the song playing, which was some annoying love song, I started the conversation.
"So what were you gonna go over with me?" I asked Vanoss.
"Just asking you some questions, see how you're good at combat and all that." Vanoss said.
"Well since we can't really fight in a car, just ask me the questions now." I offered.
"I was going to do it with the rest of the crew but since you offered, might as well." He said even though I thought it was unnecessary." How come I couldn't really find any information about you anywhere?"
I was taken aback by that question but then again, I'm not surprised. I would've asked that question too.
I used to be Siren, the most infamous thief in Liberty City, probably ever since I've never been caught once, and I wiped out every piece of information except for the basic information before I moved back here to Los Santos. I answered in my head.
I shrugged." Lets just say before I came here, I wasn't on the right side of the law." I said, doing my best not to give too much away.
"Care to elaborate?" He asked.
"Uh..." I drifted off."... Not really." I said honestly and let out a nervous chuckle. My eyes wandered to the all too familiar street where I used to live as we drove past it.
"Why do you do that?" Vanoss' voice broke my gaze from the street that was now long gone.
"Do what?" I asked even though I already knew what he was talking about.
"You always do this...thing whenever you look at Hillcrest Ave." Vanoss explained.
"Is that apart of the questions you were going to ask me?" I asked.
"Yeah it was actually." He retorted." And don't you dare give me another one of your vague answers." I wasn't sure if he was joking or not. But by the way he was gripping the wheel, he wasn't joking.
I sighed in defeat." I used to live on that street when I was younger." I finally answered. I could've sworn I saw his lips curve upwards for a second.
"Now was that so hard?" He playfully asked and I rolled my eyes." Wait, you used to live there when you were younger?" He then asked.
I nodded." Until my mother, brother and I moved to Liberty City when I was ten." I replied. He could tell by the tone in my voice that I didn't want to talk about it anymore so he moved onto the next question.
"Who taught you how to fight?"
"Half the stuff I know I learned on my own." I said. And the other person who taught me how to fight was my good friend Diana, the person you guys beat up for some reason and keep hostage at your house. I finished off in my head in a slightly angry and annoyed tone.
"How did you manage to do that?" He asked curiously.
"I learned off of people's mistakes when they fight. I found that easier than trying to learn the stuff they're already perfected." I said.
"Impressive." Vanoss said. Before he could ask any further, we were already at my house. Good thing though cause I didn't want to go any further on that question.
"Quick question: Do I have to wear a ridiculous mask or outfit like you guys?" I half-joked, which received a light chuckle from him, and hopped out the car. Vanoss whined down the window once I closed the door and turned around to face him.
"They're not ridiculous." He argued. He tried to keep a straight face but couldn't hide the smile that appeared on his face." But you can if you want."
"I'll keep that in mind." I said and walked off to the front door.
"We're gonna continue the questioning and start training early tomorrow." He said and sped off before I could say anything. I unlocked the door and closed it behind me, locking it.
I whipped my phone out as I was walking to my bedroom to check the time. 5:15pm. Good. I have plenty of time to plan and get everything I need.
"I'm gonna get you outta there, Diana." I said and started planning.
