5. Did I pass

In the next two days, there was no new email from Theo, no text message or call to say that you had passed or failed the challenge.
There have been a few more followers on your Instagram and some likes on the pictures.
There was an account with no name, just numbers. 'How lazy' you think. Try to be creative and tell people about yourself, at least. 'Why so mysterious?'
When you look at your new followers' profile pics and bio's, there are a few faces you remember. But the numbers guy doesn't have pictures of people or anything that tells you anything about him.

Fuck it.
You add them all.

"Hey, hotness, when we hooking up?" Asks one.
"The way you looked the other night, your cute but dangerous." Another message from another guy.
What your not prepared for is the Instagram call.

Insta call tone.
It's numbers guy.
A quick look at your mirror and you decided 'good enough'

"Hey" you wave, "hello"

His screen is dark but he says "hello"

"Wait, you called me, and I cant see you. That's not fair" you say.

"I'm not sure why I called, but I can say, I didn't think you would answer" his voice is sweet, a little timid.
"OK, but I did answer, didn't you have a plan in case of this?" Your smiling and intrigued. Now you remember more about his face. He was on that wavy line. Cute and sweet on one side, silent, hot and macho on the other.
"Thanks for calling me" you say, hoping he will stay on the call. "I wasn't sure if you thought I was being too forward the other night!"
The light on his screen brightens. You can now make out his shape. He's got a good size chest, is that a tattoo you see on his arm. He's got a hat on, it's low and covering his brows.
"If your feeling shy, we could just text for a while?" You prompt. Again hoping he starts to feel at ease.
"About the other night. Did you pick me out, specifically?" It's almost as if he's between two points. One he wanted to be picked out, to be special and chosen, but it also feels like he doesn't want to be noticed.
"Look if I'm being honest, I went to the club as part of my self development, I hardly made eye contact with anyone, I danced with you and a few other people. Then I went home"
He's sending out vulnerable vibes and you feel like there's no other way, the truth or nothing.

"OK, I believe you" he says. Sitting forward a little more, you can see his smile.
"I, don't know what to say now." He breathes out. "I know, did you have fun at the club?"
You chat for a little and he seems to relax more, you never fully see his face, but there's something about his smile and his shyness. Before the end of the call you tell him to "pick a time and day that you could meet up and talk in person if that's better?"
Your feeling bold, but you can already hear Theo, 'so he called, did you keep him interested or did you let it fizzle!' Not that it would really be a punishment but you imagine the spanking you would get. Pushing that from your mind.
He agrees to meet u soon. He will send the details.

You finished your current contract at a local recycling centre before you move on to the next temporary post. This one is with a department in your friends company.

Your flat mate has been staying with family and returns with lots of bags, she's obviously went shopping on her dad's card. "I wanted to get you some new clothes for when you come to work at my company". She means well, but another reason your a temp is because you don't like to dress all corporate and formal. Looking at some of the items, she's actually took your style into account. Most of the clothes you can customise and add your own flavour.

Travelling with Iseul on the subway to work, she's excited and has already told you that you have to spend lunch with your new team and she won't be surprised if they take you out for drink at the end of the work day. She's not going to come even if they ask. "It's important for you to bond with them".
