A Traitor's Fate (Nod Route)

Time to continue with the Australia missions and then, it's lemon time again.

The next day arrived and Isabel was already awake, she was looking right at me.

'Don't tell me she was watching me while I was asleep, that's kinda creepy.'

"Morning, Darling..."

"Morning, Isabel." I replied quietly. "Time for a morning cuddle, me thinks."

She giggled as we embraced each other, I get the feeling she's the one I'm gonna be waking up with the most. Well, I can't really complain and she's happy right now, why would I ever think of wanting that to stop?

Still, I needed my breakfast all the same, so after giving her a morning kiss, I got out of bed and make breakfast for the girls before dressing up, ready for the next mission which I got a few minutes later after a video call from Ajay.

"Hope you're ready for some more, Commander." He said. "Thanks to your quick thinking of taking out their ion-cannon control, the situation just got a lot dire for GDI. They've started evacuating the civilians out of Sydney, but the aliens are trying to stop them."

"Oh boy, I have a feeling where this is going." I rubbed my head.

"Yep. You're to travel to the downtown part of Sydney and provide a safe route in the sky for GDI's Ox transports to begin evacuating. The good side is that we have a base of our own and for the first time, we have a Temple Of Nod, now that we have nukes once again."

A big grin was planted on my face. "So I have a chance to test it?"

"Well, you will once you get there. GDI has a base in the area as well, the aliens also got one to the north of their position. Expect the aliens to try and cause havoc. So if you want, wipe out the alien base so they won't attack again. Kilian also wants you to harvest a whole load of tiberium to ensure our survival in Australia. Looks like you've got your work cut out today."

"Seems like it. We're on our way."

Ending the call, we left the bunker and grabbed a transport that flew us southeast to the edge of Sydney before we landed near the Nod Base by the downtown area. Me and the girls made our way into the base and I got inside the communications centre. Another day, another battle.

"Okay, it seems we need to ensure the GDI and Nod bases hold out for at least ten minutes which is how long the evacuation is gonna last." I said. "Girls, I want some of you that can attack in the air to help assist GDI's transports while the rest of you defend our base."

"What if we want to attack the alien base, My Lord?" Scarlet asked.

"Yeah, if there's a chance where they're weak, I'll send you girls along with Nods forces to launch a counter attack. And right now, the aliens have started attacking the GDI base. I'll send the nod forces we have now to hold the line. Follow them if you wish, but do be careful."

"Understood, Your Grace." Dorothy replied.

"Leave the healing and support to me." Rapunzel added.

"Well, at least these missions have been entertaining so far." Harran said.

Isabel, Red Hood and Snow White focused on protecting the Ox transports while the other four advanced with Nod pushing northwest before engaging with the aliens. And this gave GDI some breathing room before they had many units to fight back.

It still feels wrong to work with them like this, but at least there was plenty of targets to go after and besides, taking down those alien scum felt pretty good. After a while, there was only three minutes left, but then the countdown stopped and a video call was requested.
