Act 3 of the GDI campaign is underway and it's getting more challenging.
================================
The morning was becoming routine as this point. Sometimes, I would wake up alone or with one or many girls. I make breakfast for all of us when I'm awake and then be ready to leave to go on missions. Well, I'm not complaining, it was all part of the job I was working in.
After doing the usual preparations, me and my team left the house, along with the other girls who came back from last night. And made our way up to Malcolm's office, only to hear a commotion happening between three CEOs.
"...the fact that you're putting yourself out there is too dangerous!" Ingrid said. "Why do you feel you have the need to go?"
"Excusez-moi, madame." Mustang replied. "I am a CEO, and this is not your choice to keep me here."
"Yeah, for good reason!" Syuen said. "It's like you don't even care about your life!"
"Umm, excuse me?" I raised a hand. "Is this a bad time?"
"Apologies for this, Y/N." Malcolm said. "The CEOs are here, because GDI's director wishes to speak with you."
"What does Boyle want?"
He switched on the screen and it seems there was a disagreement going on.
"I took an action I thought to be correct." Granger said.
"I understand general, but I cannot, I will not be out of the loop again." Boyle replied.
"Gentlemen, our commander is here." Malcolm intervened. "We can begin the meeting."
Boyle turned to see us. "Commander, just the man I wanted to see! I've been giving a great deal of thought to our strategy in Sarajevo and I believe our next move must be emphatic, nothing less than the annihilation of Nod's Temple."
"That is out of the question, we've already wasted way too many assets trying to take down that god damn Temple!" Granger disagreed.
"Fair enough, but I refuse to believe we haven't learned tactical lessons from those losses."
"Our troops are spread thin, we cannot afford any more expensive lessons."
"But we can't afford generous hesitation. Time is of the essence here, GDI needs a major victory, something the media can get behind and run with, and I for one have every confidence that our commander can deliver. I hope I made myself clear."
Granger sighed. "...Yes sir..."
Boyle then left.
"Apologies for that, Commander. This mission is ill-advised to say the least, but if you're going to take it on, you'll need to establish a foothold in the region, and work from there. Shifty will walk you through the appropriate strategy. Good luck."
"Of course, General, we'll be ready as always." Malcolm replied before turning off the screen. "Well Y/N, looks like you'll be diving right into the fray."
"I have a feeling it's not good news." I replied.
"Perhaps, but it's true. You and your team are being sent to the Eastern Europe region. Nod has two bases that cover the north and south of where their base of operations is in Sarajevo. Shifty will be able to provide more details once you arrive."
"And I shall be joining you on your grand tour of this entertainment!" Mustang said.
"And what do you expect the Tetra Nikkes to do while you're gone?" Ingrid asked. "Have you even considered their feelings?"
