Cynthia walked back to her castle into the cold night. The breeze passed by making her raven hair flow elegantly. She could barely stand upright and could still taste the whiskey between her lips. No guards where by her side to shield her, she only walked alone. She laughed and laughed by the party she was not allowed to attend but did anyway.Thinking about how pissed her mother{the queen} will be when she sees her, Cynthia laughs even harder. Nearly almost stumbling, she opens the heavy double door and notices no one there. She was very pleased and thought it will be easier to sneak back into her room. A bright candle light suddenly flickered on to show Felix, the messenger.

"Ah shit." Cynthia said in defeat.

Unlike the other 7 messenger that are around the castle Felix was known as the worst and in addition he is the right-hand man of the queen and king.

"Tsk tsk little runaway, the queen and king will not be pleased with you." Felix said rudely.

But Felix's words did not worry Cynthia considering she gets away with it every time. She snickered, showing her careless attitude.

"Go ahead see if I care."

By then, the queen came unexpectedly towards Cynthia and Felix with guards by both sides. The queen was just as beautiful as Cynthia. Her brunette hair was fashionably braided to the side, her pale blue eyes bright and intelligent. The queens face looked very much like Cynthia's but with more age and maturity. The queen wore a blue gown, tight around the torso and then a long skirt falling down her body.

"Cynthia." She said softly.

Cynthia bowed by her name in a drunk matter. She knew that she was very much in trouble by the way her mother said her name, but trouble did not worry her. Trouble spoke her name and was her best friend. Cynthia was always known as the troublemaker all throughout the kingdom. By now she gotten so used to running away and gone out to parties or disobeying the laws, she doesn't even care if she gets caught. The queen's sparkling eyes meet her daughter's light brown.

"You will attend to the throne room to discuss about your behavior and what must be done. I don't want you no later then 6:00 to be there ,is that understood?" She said, making her voice demanding. There was no doubt that it was even a question, it was an order that Cynthia had to follow. But she might bend the rule a little bit. After the queen said what she needed to say, she left back up to the double long staircase and into her chambers where her king sleeps. A grin grew on Cynthia's face when she looked back to Felix, showing that she was right about her getting away with anything.

"Will see what happens in the throne room." He said as if reading Cynthia's mind. Cynthia walked to her room and felt the need to vomit. Flashback's of her riding her horse that she accidentally lost at the bar swelled in her mind. The picture ached when she remembered all the toasts and beers she had tonight. But what was the purpose of her even going? Although she knows that she gets away with anything, she would always feel guiltily to know that her mother was disappointed in her in the end. She knew that it was a childish act and as much as she hated to say it but there was no hope for her becoming queen. One day she will have to take her mothers place and rule her world, her home planet Noctovia. There are many planets with kingdoms with there own laws and people far off into the distance. None of which Cynthia has ever gone. Many stories of these plants like, HighLocno, Inksive, and many more were told by her mother and father. It wasn't really fair that her parents got to go to other planets except her, for God sake she is the princess. The red velvet curtains drew open and showed the stardust sky. In Noctovia Cynthia could stare at the sky forever and could dream about the stars. So peaceful and quiet as if the world stood still.

Morning came making Cynthia awake by the bright orangish/yellowish light that came through the window. She completely forgot that she slept and only remember the stars. Strange. A maid came in followed by three more holding a red dress. This made Cynthia stood up more to examine the dress. It was very lovely, the upper half was a corset, and around the breast gold swirls traveled down. The bottom half was long and stretched out on both sides. Around the belt had her signature birth plate of a golden lions face. Cynthia liked the dress but why was she getting such a generous gift? Dresses like these were only to be worn on special occasions like being invited to a fancy ballroom dance or dining with all her relatives. So getting a dress with no plans was a little unusual.
