Chapter 22

Cynthia woke up feeling sore. Last night was amazing and she was glad that her first was him. She couldn't ask for a more perfect person. Her eyes fluttered open and could feel two muscular warm arms wrap around her. Low calm breaths came by her ear. Slightly turning her head she saw Damien sleep peacefully. Cynthia couldn't help but to smile at her sleeping prince but wanted to get out of his grip, she was desperate for a shower. Considering the fact he was a lot stronger then her, the task was bit more harder then she expected. Her hands grabbed hold of his arms and lightly pulled them off of her. Cynthia tried her best to not wake up Damien but she epically failed as soon as she got loose from his hold. Two eyes shot opened in alarm and looked over at Cynthia. It took him a while to notice what she was actually doing and grabbed her hips and pulled them back down on the bed. She groaned by her failed attempt. Damien pushed himself up, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Where are you going?" He asked surly, still a little tired. Cynthia giggled.

"Well I was going to take a shower but I see your kinda preventing me from doing so." Cynthia said eyeing at Damien who slowly motioned his hands off her. Cynthia couldn't help but to laugh and walk into his bathroom, fully nude. As she was taking a shower Damien couldn't stop thinking about last night. The kiss, the sex, it all fitted his needs. To be honest he never in his whole lifetime felt this way about any woman,Damien has truly found the one that he actually loves. Cynthia was his and only his to keep.

As he sat up to put his shorts on, a sudden knock came from the door. Walking to the door he saw that it was Luna. A smile stretched across her face, she knew. Damien had no desire to hear his mother tell him that she was right this whole time so he gave her a "I know you were right" look. Instead of hearing his mother she held out a ruby necklace with a gold chain. It was the family ancient necklace passed down by all his past relatives that has chosen there queen. Many generations this necklace resembled a new beginning to the kingdom and to the royal family. Luna always wore it on her and now she was ready to give it to Cynthia. Damien held the necklace, admiring the beauty of the ruby. Surely Cynthia was going to very much like the necklace considering it was red.

"I want today to be special. For the propose of the new queen, assemble the finest cooks and ready dinner. I want everyone to know." Damien ordered. His mother smiled and kissed his forehead, proud that after nineteen years her son has finally choose who he will forever dedicate his life to.

Luna walked away excitedly by the thought of tonight.

It has already been 3 months and Damien was in love with this girl. He was even a little excited for tonight himself. Damien hid the necklace under his drawer and motioned to the bathroom. Before he could even go to the bathroom another knock came from his door. Now irritated, he opened the door once more. This time it was Beth.

"What the Hell do you want." He snapped, remembering what she did yesterday.

Beth looked at him innocently and fidgeted with her dress.

"Prince Damien. I want to give you my pleasure this fine morning and..."

"No." Damien cut her off harshly. Beth looked at him shocked by his coldness.

"What? But prince..." Beth said getting close to throwing a tantrum but Damien gridded his teeth together and showed his true hate for Beth.

"I said No. After what you did last night you have some nerve to come back here. You think that your sexually pleasures actually satisfies me? Hardly do I ever enjoy your company let alone your so called "pleasures". It disgusts me to see you begging for me and coming to my room. In fact NEVER come back here again. You can see your way out." With that said, he slammed the door directly in her face.
