"Well what do you think?"

Cynthia looked at her hair for a long time. Just staring at it. It was red but it was more of dark velvet because of her black hair. And to be honest it looked good on her. Cynthia looked at herself long and hard, feeling not like herself. Everything that has happened to her has defiantly impacted her life.

"I like it." She said softly, making Leo sigh in relief.

"Good. Now we better go out hunting before sunset." Leo said getting a bow and arrow from a corner.

Cynthia stood up in confusion. Hunting out into the woods? Doesn't really seem like a woman's task.

"Pardon but did you just say WE? Meaning ME and YOU?" Cynthia said, her voice full of disbelief.

"Well if you include Tommy then yes you are coming along."

"But what about masking my disguise? What if someone sees me?" Cynthia said trying to avoid the thought of her hunting. But Leo didn't seem to care.

"We're only going out into the woods. No one..we'll besides you...hasn't come hunting out here in nearly in 18 years. Your pretty much safe." Leo said, heading out the door.

Tommy suddenly appeared around a corner holding his own small bow and arrow.

"Come on toots we best be hunting before the deers are gone." Tommy said while scampering behind Leo.

"But..but I don't know how to hunt. Don't you remember, me a princess. Not a hunter. Besides I refuse to kill anything and you can't make me go." Cynthia pouted.

Leo rolled his eyes and instead of accepting the fact that she is a girl he grabbed an extra bow and arrow and came towards her, holding it out for Cynthia.

"If you don't come then you best be leaving and find someone else that can get you a ship. Just because you were a princess don't think that you can just expect things to be handed to you. No if your staying with us best believe your going to work with us." Leo said, patiently holding the bow and arrow for her. He knew that she would have to give in because he was her only hope getting back to Haven. Cynthia glared at him irritated because she could easily see his plan. And so she snatched the bow and arrow and began the hunt.

Back in Haven

Beth laid next to Fredrick happily. Although he was a lot and I mean a lot older then her..she is strangely in love with him. She wasn't really attracted to his appearance just more of his personality. Because he was evil like herself she found love in him.Fredrick's old hands traced her shoulder soothingly.

"Darling may I ask you something?" Fredrick asked. Beth turned to look at him and smiled.

"You may."

"Why not runaway with me. The only man you truly love is me and not the prince. You hold my child and you sleep in my very arms. Why not leave this all behind us?" Fredrick said, hope twinkling in his eyes. Beth's smile washed away with anger. She pushed herself off of him and gave him a nasty glare.

"You ask such a selfish question. We made a deal and you think I will ever throw that away. Love over power? No. I cannot just let my hard work just go to waste. I am to close to becoming queen and I will not let my love for you stand in my way." Beth snapped.

Fredrick sadly looked away from her, understanding that this girl cares more about power instead of him.

"So then that's it? You become queen, hurray. But what about the love? Both of you don't love each other and all that will be left is the wealth." Fredrick said.
