Cynthia and Leo bolted out the back door with the guards after them. Two guards were gaining on them fast, that is until Tommy shoot them both on the back of their heads, buying them a little more time before he hid in the tree. Cynthia and Leo did not stop and kept running. Running and hearing the leader of the men scream "AFTER THEM!!". Quick breaths escaped Cynthia, commanding her legs to move faster. Leo's words from her past training came to mind.

Rule 1:

In case you are being cashed, always look midways between the upper and the lower surface of your view because if you trip on a twig. Your screwed.

Cynthia did exactly that and paid attention to her surroundings. Leo turned around a corner and hid behind a big oak tree while pulling Cynthia along.

"We need to go back and go to town to meet the others." Leo said out of breath.

Cynthia nodded and slightly looked back to see the men pass by, unable to see Cynthia and Leo. When the coast was clear Cynthia turned to face him.

"Your mother said that they will be in a nearby alley way. We best be hurrying." Cynthia whispered.

Leo nodded but then suddenly snapped his head to the side to see a fire emerge from where the men were.

"BURN IT ALL DOWN! FIND HER!" One of the men screamed in rage. They were beginning to cause a forest fire and it was spreading quickly.

"Tommy." Leo said, almost frightened as he motioned back, eyes still looking at the fire.

From whatever trance he was in, he seemed to snap out of it and moved more quickly.

"Cynthia lets go!" Leo snapped making Cynthia follow his command.

Gaining closer back to the cottage to rescue Tommy more guards came, armed with spears and swords.

"Shit!" Leo hissed under his breath. Both Cynthia and Leo looked back to see the fire spread rapidly with the other men that were chasing them earlier were headed their way. Seeing that they were surround by 20 men to the least they had to keep moving to save Tommy and get out of the forest.

But time was running out. The tree that Tommy hid finally came at reach and the men caving in closer and closer.

"Climb the tree! Now!" Leo demand. He was the first one up.Climbing like a chimpanzee he successfully made it to the top. Cynthia came right behind him, digging her nails into the bark and latching onto the outer branches. Suddenly, grabbing onto one of the branches it snapped in half making Cynthia fall.Panic struck in her and she knew that she didn't have enough time to make it back up, that is until Leo caught her arm, preventing her to fall. Cynthia looked up to see Leo struggling to hold her and Tommy trying to help. With her other free hand she grabbed Leo's arm and pulled herself up. And just in time she made it safely into the tree right before the guards came.

"Thanks." Cynthia breathed in relief.

Leo smirked but then transferred into his seriousness. Seeing that the forest was about to completely burn down they had to move fast.

"We need to get out of here now." Leo whispered. They all agreed and began to quickly move from tree to tree, while the men were scattered around looking for them. Finally away from the burning forest they made it into town. As they invited themselves in they had to be careful from people seeing Cynthia. Luckily she had her red hair and was covering her face. Leo seemed to know where exactly he was going because he led the whole way. Avoiding everybody in his path. As they made it into a broken down ally way, there they saw Georgia with Lia.
