Albedo gaze outside the taxi window, the view of Mondstad was beautiful indeed with trees on the side of the roads giving a calming yet cooling sensation, flowers decorating around the trees, the birds chirping and the shining sun, it was like the Eden of Tevyat. The taxi stopped in front of an apartment.

The apartment was surrounded with polices and warning tape, he opened the taxi door, stepping out of the car. He closed the door, walking towards the apartment while carrying his suitcase. The police noticed Albedo approaching them. The police took their hat off, they bowed to Albedo as a sign of respect

"Mr Albedo, it's a pleasure to have you here." They said with a respectful tone, Albedo shook his head with a small smile.

"There's no need to bow down gentleman, I'm merely just an assistant on this case." He responded humbly. He glance at the building.

"Is inspector Jeffrey inside?" He inquired, the police officer nodded.

"Yes he's inside, I'll be leading you to him." The police officer said, taking the lead.

They walked inside the apartment, taking the elevator. The police officer take out a gas mask and hand one to Albedo, Albedo glance at the mask then gaze at the police officer, puzzled.

"The crime scene is filled with poisonous scent of lavender, the scent can give you some sort of deadly disease." The police officer said.

"This is to keep you safe Mr Albedo." He continued, Albedo turned down the offer.

"It's alright sir, I'm durable with poisonous g-"

"Just take the mask Mr Albedo." The police officer insisted, cutting off Albedo's words.

Albedo gaze at the gas mask and sighed, putting it on.The elevator door opened, they both walked outside. Mists of Lavenders could be seen from afar, covering the ground. A man in his thirties ruffled his hair while listening to his assistant words.

"Mr Jeffrey, I came like you asked." Albedo said behind his mask, the man named Mr Jeffrey perked up, his eyes lightening up.

"Ah Mr Albedo, I'm glad you came." Mr Jeffrey responded with a relieved tone. He shook Albedo's hand.

"It's always a pleasure to work with a bright forensic like yourself." He added.

"The pleasure is all mine." Albedo said, he turned to the opened door, he could see a man wearing a noble outfit laying dead on the ground, blood splattered all over paired with hyacinth petals.

In front of the man was a crystalized hyancinth and a pearl beside it. He stepped inside the dorm, taking a closer look. He noticed the color of the hyancinth mist that came out of the blood. He squints his eyes, seemingly in thought.

"From the way he died he seemed to die due to poisoning, yet.." He took his hand, opening the man stiff mouth, inside his mouth was crstalized petals of hyancinth.

"it looked like he suffered from Hanahaki disease based on the flower petals."
Albedo tried to wrap his head around it, checking to see if he missed something, he turned to Mr Jeffrey.

"Mr Jeffrey, may i conduct an autopsy on him? Maybe I can get more clues." He asked, Mr Jeffrey only nodded.

"Of course Mr Albedo." Mr Jeffrey responded. As Albedo gaze at the murder scene, he know this is not just a normal murder case, there's something more sinister behind it, and he intended to find out about it.
