After a couple of minutes, he kept writing on the paper using his brother's equation, his handwriting was a lot clearer compared to his brother who just scribbled.

He realized where his mistake was, the solution he chose was so long that he completely lost his concentration on the numbers he put. With the short yet clear equation, he was getting closer to the answer.

Finally, he found the answer, but he couldn't be relieved yet, he tapped Ratio's shoulder before handing it to him. Ratio took the answer sheet and he analyzed it carefully. After he finished looking at it he only nodded.

"You did it, now do it again." Ratio ordered.

Alhaitham didn't protest as he took it, Ratio gazed at his little brother who is 10 years younger than him before cracking a small warm smile at him as he patted Alhaitham's soft gray hair.

"You have potential in Physics, just keep studying hard okay? It'll show if you keep studying a lot." Ratio advised.

Alhaitham grunted a bit before he took Ratio's hand off his head slowly. His turquoise eyes with sharp scarlet pupils gaze into his brother's beautiful magenta eyes with yellow rings around his black pupils.

"I know, you don't need to pat me like a little kid for it, I'm 25 years old for goodness sake.." Alhaitham complained for a bit before he glanced at the answer sheet.

Ratio chuckled a bit hearing it, he knew Alhaitham was never the type to be a baby around even when he was a little kid, he was too mature for his age. Ratio rises from his sofa before looking at his office.

"I know you're an adult now, but you need to let out your inner child once in a while you know? Sometimes being logical isn't enjoyable." Ratio advised as he got up while looking through his phone.

"Make sure to use that equation in your job, it's useful to track magic waves around you and inside of you." Ratio added as he turned the door knob. Alhaitham stayed quiet before opening his mouth.

"Stay safe big brother.." he whispered, Ratio turned around and blinked his eyes in disbelief before his smile widened as his eyes softened. It's like he just saw a little angel talking to him.

"I will Haith, and you stay safe in your job, okay?" Alhaitham nodded, Ratio closed the door, leaving for his university to teach his mediocre students.

Alhaitham took out his phone once there was a ping, he opened up his phone, another order from the Akademiya, and he read through the order.

"Mr. Alhaitham, we have received a report about the witness of a murder, as of right now, Albedo couldn't be contacted so you'll be the one interrogating the witness" This Is what was written on his phone.

Alhaitham stayed silent before exhaling. His mind started to wander, If Albedo was busy right now to interrogate the witness, why was he the one that got picked? Alhaitham isn't the type to use kindness to find out the truth, he prefers using the harsh way to find it, yes it might not be the best but it's just how he searches for the truth.

He started typing the question he wanted to ask before he put on his coat to go to the place that was sent by the sender. 

Alhaitham: The information on the witness please.

Sender: Of course, the little girl's name is Gabriella, around 8 years old. She's the daughter of the Caspian family that has been brutally murdered. The murderer was suspected to be "The Changeling" as Gabriella's parents were killed the same way as "The Changeling" other victims, we don't know why the girl wasn't killed by "The Changeling" at all as they're always known to get rid of any evidence or witness no matter what...

Alhaitham: They didn't steal anything again?

Sender: No, not at all Mr Alhaitham.

"The changeling?... What's up with them killing the nobles all the time? There has to be a reason why they've been killing these specific nobles, as from what we have gathered currently, these nobles don't really have criminal records of their crimes. It's not out of greed, if it is wouldn't they steal something?" he thought to himself.

"What's... their goal here? it's not out of revenge, it's like their punishing these nobles for something that we don't know.. but what?"
