Chapter 16

"That's enough for today." Dr Ratio said once the bell rang.

The students start packing their bags, leaving the classroom to prepare for their next lesson in another class. One particular student stands out in Ratio's eyes. A man with messy black fluffy hair, pale skin, and sharp light blue eyes.

There are red eyeliners under his eyes. He was listening to music while doing his homework. Dr Ratio walks towards him and then takes off the man's earphones. The man was shocked as he turned to his teacher, Ratio smirked a bit, giving off a cocky aura.

"It's not good listening to music while you're in a class Dan Heng," Ratio advised, Dan Heng sighed as he bowed his head.

"My apologies Dr Ratio.." He muttered quietly, Ratio shook his head while sighing before giving back Dan Heng's earphones.

Dan Heng took it and put it in his bag, about to leave the room before Ratio spoke up.

"You're a smart student, I'm sure you're good at tracking someone's information correct?" Ratio guessed, Dan Heng glanced at Ratio before nodding.

"I'm quite good with data information sir, why do you ask?" Dan Heng inquired.

Ratio took out a picture and put it on the table, it was a picture of a girl with angel wings behind her ears with light lavender color, and light green-blueish eyes. The girl's name was Robin, a popular singer in the whole world.

Dan Heng tilted his head, a bit confused. Why does Dr Ratio want information about a famous pop singer like Robin? From what he observed, she hasn't done something out of the ordinary in this university after her sudden disappearance from the media.

"Miss Robin?" He asked with a curious yet confused tone. Ratio nodded as he pulled his hand away from the photo before coughing to explain himself.

"There have been a few reports of Miss Robin acting quite odd from her behavior to how her vocal cords seemed a lot more different than the last time the media saw her." Ratio explained, he then gazed into Dan Heng's eyes.

"There might be a chance that this Miss Robin isn't real, but she might be someone my dear brother has been searching for." He added.

Dan Heng stayed silent as he processed the information, the Akademiya can be involved in this as well? That means she must be the Akademiya target for a reason. Dan Heng thinks through the offer before nodding his head.

"I'll do it sir." He responded Ratio gave him a satisfied grin before fixing his golden glasses.

"Good, make sure the information isn't useless." He stated as he walked out of his classroom while walking, he pulled his formula book out of his bag, skimming through the pages. 

The world around him seemed to slow down while he focused on checking the formula to see if he made a mistake. Suddenly a familiar voice could be heard in front of him.

"Acytus?" Ratio raised his head to see Robin staring at him with disbelief, her eyes widened while she froze in place as if she'd seen a ghost. Ratio squints his eyes in irritation before sighing.

"Miss Robin, you do realize my name is not Acytus correct?" He questioned as he closed his book, crossing his hands, Robin snapped out before she bowed down.

"Apologies.." She looked at his name card for a bit before repeating her words.

"My apologies Dr Ratio." She apologized before hurriedly walking away from Ratio.

When they met each other gaze, Ratio saw a vision of a girl with light brown wavy hair crystal blue eyes and beautiful white skin. His eyes widened, and he watched as Robin slowly disappeared from his sight.

"What was that?" He thought to himself a bit confused.

That figure he just saw felt... similar and close to him like it's part of his identity, not to mention how Miss Robin acts, it's like this Miss Robin has seen a deceased loved person from the past.

"I guess there's something I need to research about this person's body." He thought to himself while looking at his hand before sighing. 

He put back his book and grabbed his phone to call Alhaitham, a few seconds passed and Alhaitham picked up his phone.

"Yes Ratio?" Alhaitham asked, Ratio took a deep breath before opening his mouth.

"Can you tell me what stands out about this changeling person?"

"The Changeling? They have crystal blue eyes, and they never change shape or color despite every person they've disguised as."

"Is that so? I see. I need to deal with something, I'll call you later once I'm sure."

"Wait what do you-" Beep! Ratio hung up his phone, he started dialing a phone number waiting for that person to pick up. After that, someone picked up the phone.

"Ah Ratio, what do you need?" A familiar sly voice asked.

"I need your help with The Halovian family, can you get information about Sunday?" 

"Of course, I'll do anything you want Doctor, use me as you wish."
