9. Aquaphobia / jisung centric

Warnings: near death experience, drowning, water intake, disrespectful staff, that's really it

Summary: underwater filming looked and sounded perfect for their music video, who knew how wrong that could end up.

The members were..... restless to say the least.

In preparation for their music video the director proposed a ton of unique ideas to set them apart. Sparing no expense on props and costume it was clear this would be their highest budget film yet.

The members were informed specifically of an underwater sequence that would be the highlight of the production, the details were vague, only confirming a photo shoot was set to happen, with the focus of underwater elements.

A large tank like structure was designed and built specifically for the video, more tall then it was wide. Surrounded by clear glass and gold accents to fit the theme, a hosing system on the interior which allowed consistent water flow, and a few minor decorations and hidden details upon closer inspection.

It almost seemed like the priority lacked focus on safety, and more time spent to decorate the damn thing.

Jisung specifically was feeling a bit on edge about everything, his members well aware of his slight phobia to water, but as the years have gone by he's learned to overcome it, or at the very least minimize his emotional response to the matter.

Sure the thoughts still made their way to his head, but considering he used to face nightmares, or paled at the thought of swimming alone, that was him as a kid, he was older now and as the years past it hasn't bothered him greatly.

It hadn't always been like this, but as a kid one fateful day had caused it all, after a pool incident had him tripping off the ledge, falling into the water unattended with no understanding of how to swim.

His parents were lucky enough to be in the area to pull him from the water, sure the incident wasn't anything crazy, but it was enough to develop a strong dislike.

After hearing about this 'water shoot' jisung wasn't at all phased by this, the production team had been brining up new and exciting ideas for this upcoming video, having used fire and explosives in the past, this wasn't much of a head turner.

Arriving on set the group was directed to the fitting rooms for costume, hair, and make up. The vibe for their looks was very ethereal, he specifically was styled in a loose almost see through white shirt, something a pirate would wear in a way. Paired with a black corset, black loose pants with hanging straps and bows, and silver jewelry, and with that jisung was ready.

They were then guided to the main area the shoot would talk place, the space was near empty despite the large water tank and equipment.

Jisung eyed the pile of dry towels, the tank, and the number of cameras.

Suddenly feeling a little on edge.

Soon enough, one by one, the members took their turns.

Set to go last jisung could only watch from the side in anticipation and wonder, the others were naturals. Everyone had their own essence to the photos, some opting for a more powerful pose, strong facial expression and more thought out posing, some of them choosing a more delicate pose, arms stretched beautifully, face relaxed.
