The boys were happily discussing stupidities waiting for their plates to come. Zoro could still feel people staring at them, but he couldn't care less. They could stare at them as much as they wanted. It was like they never saw other people than their circle. They weren't dressed fancy, but apart from that, they weren't a lot of difference between them. But the money was able to create two different worlds.

Zoro focused on the boys again. Since they were living with Sanji and Nami, Zoro could feel they were happier, enjoying their day more. It was like a weight left their shoulder. He took a sip of his booze. Tonight, he will enjoy his night. He has a new job that he will start on Monday. He knew it would be a great job that he would love. But on the other hand, that also meant that he had to see the blond and talk with him more. He wanted to enjoy this moment of calm, knowing that this world could collapse at any moment.

He heard steps coming toward their table. Chopper, Usopp, and Luffy stopped talking, looking at the plates Jeff had in his hand with envious eyes. He put the plates down.

"Here, little brats, the other eggplant is coming with the other plates." Jeff said, pointing at the kitchen door, where a blond guy stepped out.

Zoro's heart missed a beat. What was he doing here? It was his night. Far from him. Far from the feelings that he heartfelt whenever he saw the cook. And now here he was standing in front of him. Of course, they saw each other a few hours ago. But still, it was like destiny wanted them to be near each other every minute.

The cook walked toward them without noticing them. He finally arrived at their table.

"So, old man, who are those special customers you..." But didn't finish his sentence when he saw the people sitting at the table. Their eyes find each other, and they stare at each other, trying to understand if it was the reality or not. Sanji never expected to find Zoro in his home. The Baratie was his home, more than every house could be. Finding Zoro in it was like he was violating his private room. His secret garden.

Jeff looked at the two men with a frown. He could feel the tension. There are a lot of unspoken words. He remembered Luffy talking about Sanji's cook. He then made the connection. Could it be possible that the people Sanji took in his house were the same as the ones who sat at the table? Could Zoro be the man?

"Sanji!" Chopper finally exclaimed, surprised to see the man there. "What are you doing here?"

Sanji finally averted his gaze from the moss head and looked at the boys. "I'm working here. That's my adoptive father, Jeff." The three youngers were shocked by the news staring at the men.

"Sanji, can you present me to your friends." Jeff finally spoke.

"We are not friends." Zoro replied with a frown. He didn't consider the cook like his friends. Never will he be able to see him like that. Sanji frowned but didn't reply to those words. He knew they weren't friends, but seeing the reaction of the green-haired man made him pinch his pride. He was trying to do things right.

"So, what are you?" Jeff asked back.

"I... We..." Zoro stuttered. A little blush appeared on his cheeks. Their relationship with the blond was so complicated. "I don't know." He said truthfully.

Jeff wasn't waiting for this answer and looked surprised. He decided not to push more.

"Well, you guys should eat. The plate is going to be cold." Jeff said, taking his leave to go back to the kitchen. Sanji was still there, frozen, a little embarrassed. "Sanji, you can take your 15-minute break, but then we need you back in the kitchen." Sanji nodded, and Jeff finally entirely disappeared behind the door of the kitchen.
