I felt so much lighter after speaking to Taylor and Conrad, no more uncertainty between us and now, I can put my energy into cheering my best friend at Play It Forward.

When I got to my room, my sister and I started to get ready for the volleyball tournament. Josie and I wanted to go all out with our support for Belly. Will she be embarrassed for what we've got planned? Possibly, but it's the thought that counts.

We changed into green cheerleading uniforms, the closest green to match Belly's team shirts, then I styled our hairs into high ponytails with a matching big green bow. I apply mascara to my lashes and lip gloss to my lips, then had my sister apply some face paint and vice versa. Our right cheek said Team and our left said Belly, the same words on the back of our cheer tops were ironed on in white capital block letters. Lastly, we had pom poms, one green, one white and a big Team Belly sign that we made last night with colours and glitter. We wanted that sign to be seen for miles.

When we were dressed, everyone, bar Mum and Kai, had left for the tournament, so it will be a surprise not just for Belly, but for everyone else

When we were dressed, everyone, bar Mum and Kai, had left for the tournament, so it will be a surprise not just for Belly, but for everyone else. Mum gushed at how adorable we looked and took pictures. Kai felt a bit left out, so I painted Team Belly on his cheeks like ours, and once he was satisfied, Mum drove us to the the tournament.

"Oh my God," I heard Belly say in disbelief as Josie and I neared her and Conrad on the sandy court. Conrad followed Belly's eyes and found me on the end of it, his own eyes widening at the sight.

"Surprise!" Josie and I exclaimed to Belly.

She laughed, "what are you guys wearing?"

"We're cheering you on," I said.

"Yeah, sorry about the green, it was nearest shade we could find to your shirt," added Josie, "but we did add our own twist."

We both turned our back to them and moved our ponytails to the side showing Belly her team name. When I turned back to face her, I noticed Conrad's eyes lingering on my body making me feel shy. I mentally slap myself for being so weak.

"Wow guys," she said with chuckle.

"And..." I turned over the large white poster card to show her our artwork.
