You blew out the candle of your fifth birthday cake.

Both of your parents are singing you a happy birthday song as you happily sing along.

In the end of the song, you carefully slice the cake, then give your mom the first bite.

"Ouchy, not Daddy for this year? I thought you promised me to give the first cake for your new diary." Makarov said with a sad tone, holding his chest to fake a hurt.

His wife played along as she tried to muffle her laughter. "Oww, baby, how can you forget your dad? I thought you were a good girl."

"No no! I am good!" You immediately shake your head. "I don't forget." You said, trying to defend yourself.

"Oh? Is that so, little one?" Your father was raising an eyebrow as he tried to muffle his chuckles as well. Seeing his daughter panic's state.

Your mom could no longer hold back her laughter.

"Mommy!!!" You whined as you looked at your mom with a pout.

"I'm so sorry, sweetheart. You're just so sweet." She finally calmed down a little after a moment, then looked back at your dad.

"Our little girl here didn't forget her promise, love. Besides..." She trailed off as she looked back at you. "Go and take the surprise." Your mom shys you away to go take what was supposed to be something to surprise your father.

"I see, so you two have been hiding something from me." He nodded knowingly, looking at the two with amusement. He tried to keep his face flat, not wanting to dissapoint his only child by you knowing that he already knew about the surprise.

His wife just rolled her eyes at him. Holding back another chuckle that tried to escape.

After a moment, you're back with both your hands behind your back. You slowly walked up to your father, grinning widely. "I make with mommy for you." You proudly declared as you subconsciously raised your head high. Wanting to show off that you're also proud about what you did.

"And what is it, baby?" Your dad played along as he turned his chair to face you.

You move closer to your dad, then slowly take out what's behind you to give it to him.

What greets his view is a little cake, full of white, he assumed vanilla, and there are both lavender and daffodils flowers drawing on the cake. Underneath the flowers says, "Best daddy ever," and there's another line of drawing of what he assumed to be his face and a little crown on his head.

He's literally melting when he sees the cake. He knows that both women are preparing a cake for him. But he doesn't know what will be on top of it. He practically almost shed a tear at the sight.

"My sweet little angel." He softly called. Voice full of affection. He slowly takes the cake and places it on the table before he picks up his only daughter, his little copy of his life. Sitting you on his lap, then hugging you tight.

"How can you be so sweet, Angel? What do I do to deserve this?" He buried his face into his daughter's hair. Inhaling your still baby-ish scent.

"No cry, daddy. No no." You said with almost a broken tone as well. Which makes Makarov feel an ache in his heart.

"Dad serves many things. Dad the best." You said once again as you pouted while you wrapped your arms around his neck, hugging him as tight as possible.

"Yes, baby. Yes. You are my world." He softly whispered against your ear.

On the other side, your mother just watched the scene unfold with such sincerity. Her eyes teared up as well at the sight before her. Her little family is perfect. They complete each other.
