"Since you're the one that is familiar with the building, I need you to get into the vent and go to their security room. Take over and let us know when it's safe." Price explained the plan as the big screen attached to the wall in the briefing room showing the building they need to take over.

It's a four-story house, right at the very end of the country. Covered with forest and quite a long river. But because of that, it will be easy for them to track the road.

"Do you think they have a basement?" You asked as your eyes were sharp on the screen. Scanning every possible way.

"That's for you to know, Sergeant." Your captain simply replied, making your beautiful blue slightly green eyes move to look at the older man.

You remain silent for a moment before you get up and move to sit in front of the computer. Easily kick your boots off as you take both of your legs up and get comfortable in the big chair. Your hands started to type on the keyboard, and your eyes focused on the smaller screen in front of you. No longer paying attention to your surroundings.

Price smiles at your behaviour then continues to brief the others. "Ghost will stay behind, watching our back as a sniper."

Ghost, leaning against a wall beside the door, gives his captain a subtle nod. An acknowledgement of his task.

"Soap and Roach, wait for Chamber's signal to move from the back door. Or whatever door she finds possible." He turned his gaze to the two men sitting around the table.

They both answered with a "yes, sir" in unison.

"I and Gaz will keep Chamber saves until she gets to the security room, then I will regroup with Soap and Roach. Gaz stayed behind to watch Chamber's back while she navigated us through the building."

"Yes, sir."

With that, Price briefs some more before dismissing his team.

Ghost is the last to leave the room. His eyes are looking at the small figure sitting in front of a computer; your back is facing to him. Your small body shields what you might possibly do.

He stayed there, silently watching you work through your stuff. After long times pass, he finally sees another action from you. You stretch your arms as you squeal happily; he assumed that you finally get what you want.

Then you moved the chair to the side, where you kicked your boots away a while ago. You bend down to slip in each of your feet back to the boots, then tie the lace while humming a little.

After you're done, you turn the chair to face the computer once again, typing some more before the monitor goes off. You get up and stretch once again before turning around just to freeze in your track when your eyes land on the figure leaning against a wall beside the door.

"O-oh.. Need anything, Lt.?" You awkwardly asked as you slowly lowered your arms to the side of your body. Your sparkling blue, slightly green eyes that are almost grey looking at him. Tried to maintain the eye contact even though it's evident that you're nervous.

Ghost stayed silent for a moment, his eyes slightly moving to look at the digital clock on the desk along with the computer.

[07.34 PM]

"Dinner's ready. They wait for you." He gruffly responded, then got out of the room. Leaving you on your own.

You blink your eyes twice before getting back on your mind and slowly walking out of the briefing room to the kitchen. You didn't forget to close the door behind you after.

Hearing the commotion from the kitchen, you internally smile to yourself before stepping inside.

When you smelt the aroma of the food, you excitedly said, "Where's my pizza?" You immediately seated yourself on the remaining seat.

"Soap is already eating yours." Gaz's voice chimed in as he shoved his pizza in his mouth. Eyes full of mischief, waiting for the two to live up the dining table.

Just before you can protest to the said Sergeant, a plate with two pizzas is served in front of you.

You looked down with surprise at the hand that placed the plate in front of you, then your eyes slowly trailed up just to see your Lieutenant is the one that brought your plate.

Without a word, he left the kitchen. Leaving you dumbfounded.

"Look, I'm not that cruel to eat yours when you've been working hard today." Soap said to you before glaring dagger to Gaz.

Sometimes, when both Soap and you decide to have some peaceful moment, it's always either Gaz or Roach that lit up the fire.

You rolled your eyes at his statement, then proceeded to eat your pizza happily. Ignoring both Soap and Gaz.

Price enters the kitchen and goes to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of cold water, opening the bottle cap with ease, and then drinking almost half of it in one go. Then his eyes move to looking around his team with a smile.

When you notice your captain is there, you turn around to face him from around the table. "There's indeed a basement, and I think the security room will be there. But I'm not really sure." You trailed off as your eyes looked at the ceiling, trying to look for something in your distant memory.

"It can be either on the top floor or the basement." You continued after a moment.

"Should I go to the top floor first?" Your eyes finally landed on the captain once again.

"How about the vent? Is it possible for you to get down checking the basement from the vent, and if it's not the security room, you can go back up and go to the top?" He suggests then he takes another gulp from his bottle of cold water. Leaning back against the kitchen counter.

"That can be arranged, but it will waste so many times." You frown as you take a bite from your pizza. Looking down at the floor. Slowly become frustrated again.

Price smiles at you, then he takes steps forward, placing his hand on your shoulder. "(Y/N), we still have three days more. You still have time to figure it out. And your team here will help you." He comfortingly said.

You looked up to see your captain, looking straight into his eyes, then slowly nodded. "Yes, sir." You lowly answered then turned around to the table, finishing your remaining pizza.

The older man can't help but sigh; if only Laswell was here, she could help to ease you down. But she was already occupied with something else. He proceeded to tap your head twice before leaving the kitchen.

Once they see their captain left, Soap is fast to nudge you. "Hey, lass, you think you're up for an Xbox?"

You looked up to see Soap, already grinning widely at you, then you slowly nodded before shoving the last bite of pizza in your mouth. Getting up from your seat, you walk to the fridge and take a bottle of water. "Let's go."
