"Yes, captain. I have no doubt it should be here looking at the clue and connecting them in one." You said surely as you sat in front of a computer in a briefing room. Looking at the map displayed on the big screen attached to the wall.

"Alright then, I'll contact Laswell about what you said." Price replied, proud, as he patted your head twice. Slightly messing with your hair.

You internally roll your eyes at all their behaviour about messing with your hair. "Okay, can you tell her I say hi?" You ask while you get up from the chair, turning around to look at the captain standing behind the chair.

"Of course, that should be easy. Go and train; I'm sure the others are already waiting for you." He smiles warmly, then slightly pushes your shoulder to the door, then he takes your seat in front of the computer. Already on the way of contacting the woman.

"Harder, Chamber. Your punches left nothing to feel." Soap taunt as he defends himself from you showering him with punches.

The two always ended up being a pair when it came to sparring. But it's mostly Soap who's winning, so that's making a thing or two settled between them when they're sparring.

Before they start to spar, Soap will always help you with punches, adding the fuel you needed to blow a harder one each time you did.

Because apparently, your weakest ability is hand-in-hand combat. You are indeed a master when it comes to something like a knife, rope, or anything in hand. But when you left with nothing other than your own fists, it left you almost defenseless. And for that, Price is always working on that every time you're training.

C'mon, (Y/N). Try to think of something to take him down.

You thought to yourself as you kept throwing hits and kicks to Soap. Who seems to defend himself against you so effortlessly? It rages you even more.

When Soap suddenly looks behind you, you immediately take the chance and lunge forward, hoping to catch him off guard.

"Oh, not so fast, (Y/N)." He chuckles before slightly twisting his body and somehow getting you in a chokehold position.

His right arm is wrapping around your neck, while the other one is wrapping around his hand for leverage. He wrapped his legs around your waist to minimise your movement. Looking down at you with amusement.

You tried to claw at Soap's arm, kicking your legs in hope of his legs loosening around you, but it just makes him tighten his hold.

"Think of something." He softly reminded you.

Your eyes were frantically looking around the room when you heard what he said. Almost on cue when Ghost stepped into the room, you raised your hands high and elbowed his stomach. Giving in all your strength you can muster in the current position you're in.

"Oof." It makes Soap loosen his grip slightly around your neck, and you immediately take the opportunity to turn around and elbow his neck instead. Getting on top of him.

"Hello there, MacTavish." You smugly said as you looked down straight into his eyes. Enjoying the change of position.

"Oh, lass, don't get all cocky now." He chuckles as he taps your small arms twice. Indicating that it's done.

You rolled your eyes as you rolled to his side. Resting your head on his stomach. Laying down and facing the ceiling. Exhausted.

"Thank you, Soap." You softly said between your ragged breath.

"It's my job, Chamber."

Rarely, they both lay down together peacefully. Without another banter being thrown towards each other. Just enjoying each other's presence.

"Oh, it's rare to see you two quiet for a moment." Comes Gaz voice interrupting their peacefulness.

Strategically and almost automatically, Soap takes off one of his gloves, giving it to you, then you precisely throw it hard on Gaz's face. Then they smoothly high-fiving together, happy on their small victory.

"So you both now teaming up, huh?" Gaz annoyedly said as he crouched down to take the glove that had been sliding down from his face to the floor. He threw it back to you, which you caught with ease.

Soap and you just laugh at his statement, still happy in your own world.

Gaz tsks and just chuckles as he walks to the punching bag. In the right corner of the training room, across from the two on the left corner with the training mat.

"Where's Roach?" Ghost's sudden voice startled you as you jolted from your position and got up to sit. Looking around your surroundings to the source of the voice.

You finally found Ghost in the other left corner, close to the door. Where all the heavy lifting is stayed there.

The Lieutenant is currently wrapping bandages around his left hand. Eyes on Gaz as he's asking about Roach's whereabouts.

Gaz shrugged at his question, "Don't know, somewhere around the common room, I guess?" Then he proceeded to take a stance in front of the punching bag. "He said he'll be joining us here shortly." He adds before starting to punch the target in front of him.

Ghost remains silent as his eyes look at Gaz before suddenly they shift to you. You locked eyes for a moment before you broke the eye contact first. Realising you've been staring at your higher-up. Unknown to the others, Ghost silently chuckles under his mask.

Soap finally gets up from his laying position and sits. "Another round before gun range?" He offers.

"Sure." You turned to look back at the older man behind you. Then proceed to get up and do another round of sparring.

Walking inside the gun range, you happily skipping to the sniper rifle almost immediately.

Soap is following not so far behind you. He opted to clean the gun for today. So he sat on a bench not too far from where you were lying on your stomach, already in position to snipe. Silently watching you practice as his hands move on their own to clean the tactical weapon.

On the other hand, you had been drowning in your own world of sniping. It will always be your favourite one. In your past life, you've been dreaming of becoming a sniper. Happy to finally be able to fulfil your wish.

A voice of a gun being used echoes around the room. Cutting the silence in the gun range.

You always tried to shoot in between the head, neck, and chest where the heart would be. You never want to aim elsewhere but at the three. So from the very first day you hold a sniper, you set your mind to make sure to aim for those three. Until now, it has become a habit of yours.

Not long after, Ghost and Roach come into the gun range as well. Quietly talking along the way. When they see what position you are in, they decide to keep quiet and silently take their own type of weapon they want to practice for today.

"Just cleaning?" Roach asked when he noticed Soap sitting on a bench with a weapon in his hands.

"Yeah." He simply replied, eyes barely looking at Roach before going back to look at your target.

Roach following his gaze, and you never fail to impress them with your weapon skill. You just missed three shots from a total of ten bullets in one mag.

"Again." A raspy, deep voice, thick with British accent, comes from behind you. Startling you a little before you glance from your shoulder just to see your superior standing there. Crossing his arms in front of his chest. Looking at the target you have shot.

You looked back down to your sniper, then started to reload. Silently obeying Ghost's command.

Then another round of shooting can be heard.
