Huminto si Jachin malapit sa bahay ni Evie para sunduin ito.
Rigo
Ah, dito pala bahay niya. Ganda ah. May kaya rin pala.
Nilingon ito ni Jachin sa backseat.
Jachin
Alam mo dapat nag-commute ka na lang.
Malakas na tumawa si Rigo.
Rigo
Bakit?! Inaano kita d'yan? Nakikisabay lang, eh. Pareho lang naman tayo ng pupuntahan.
Jachin
Mang-aasar ka lang.
Rigo
Grabe namang panghuhusga 'yan. Ayaw mo ba 'yon, live action ko makikita kung paano ka kapag kasama si Evie?
Napahawak na lang sa sentido si Jachin.
Jachin
Magsama pa kayo ni Stephen.
Bago pa makasagot si Rigo ay bumukas na ang pinto ng passenger seat.
Evie
Hi! Sorry, I had to feed my babies first before going.
Rigo
Ayos lang! Inaasar ko pa si Jachin, eh.
Evie giggled when she saw Jachin's face. His cheeks were flushed with annoyance.
Evie
Tungkol saan? He is clearly suffering. Don't worry, I'm here!
The gentle pats she gave Jachin's arm made him smile.
Rigo
Nag-e-enjoy ako maging third wheel, promise.
Umangil si Jachin dito.
Jachin
Tumabi ka na, magda-drive na 'ko.
Jachin pushed Rigo out the center console area so he can drive properly and because he was really annoying him.
Jachin
Kumain ka? Puro lang 'yong snacks kaya nag heavy meal ka sana.
Evie nodded.
Evie
I ate rice na lang so I won't get hungry.
Evie
By the way, do I look okay? You said just casual so I just picked jeans and a shirt.
Jachin glanced at her for just a moment, but it was enough for him to see how good she looks.
Then he bit his lower lip.
Jachin
Alam mo na sasabihin ko, eh.
Evie
Huh?
Evie's eyes widened when she realized what he meant.
Evie
O. . . kay.
Rigo
Sasabihin niyang sobrang ganda mo habang kumukutitap ang mga mata. 'Di ba, tama ako?
Jachin wanted so badly to punch Rigo but he just couldn't let go of the steering wheel.
Jachin
May multo talaga sa likod. Naririnig mo ba? 'Wag mo nang pansinin.
Rigo
Okay lang at least hindi problemado sa karapatan.
Evie laughed at how Rigo threw back something at Jachin.
Jachin
Mas lalala yata sakit ng ulo ko.
Evie reach out to him to pat his head, quietly marvelling at the softness of his hair.
Evie
You look nice today!
Ngumiti si Jachin.
Jachin
Binago ko konti style ng buhok ko. And nagpa-undercut.
Evie
Oh, that's why it got short sa sides!
Rigo
Nagpapogi. Para raw sa 'yo.
Hindi ito pinansin ni Jachin.
Jachin
Nagsawa na ako sa buhok ko. And gusto ko rin match tayo na nagpagupit.
Evie felt her cheeks heat up.
Evie
It. . . It looks good on you.
If it weren't for Rigo talking, baka mas lalo pa siyang namula dahil sa pag ngiti sa kanya ni Jachin.
He really looked good and it didn't help Evie's huge crush on him.
