The next day in the Kim mansion, at noon, everything appeared fine, except for one person, Verna. She began to observe her surroundings, particularly the behavior of Taehyung and Lisa. Something didn't seem normal; it felt odd, and suspicion crept into her thoughts.

Despite Lisa and Taehyung's attempts to conceal their relationship from their parents, Verna couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right.

She pondered, "Does Lisa seduce my son or perhaps trap him? I don't know, but I sense something is amiss, and now I need to remove Lisa from our lives."

Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by a call from Jennie. Answering the phone, she heard her daughter's voice filled with happiness. "Hello, Mother. How are you and how is everything going?" Jennie inquired.

Verna spoke with a hint of doubt from her luxurious room: "I am fine; I hope you are fine, love, and it is happy to hear you happy."

Jennie chuckled and shared, "Yes, I am happy, and Jungkook is very nice to me. We are in Paris for our honeymoon, and he planned a world tour for us."

Verna, while thinking about Taehyung, continued, "It's good, Jennie. I wish you all happiness. I also want your brother to be happy. I want you to find a rich and beautiful girl for your brother who matches his status."

Sensing something in her mother's tone, Jennie questioned, "Does something happen, Mother? You don't seem to be fine. You know, my brother always does what he wants. He won't marry until he wants, even if we present him with a princess."

Verna spoke slowly. "These days, I am sensing something between Taehyung and Lisa. They seem to be hiding something, or maybe it's just my assumption."

Jennie reassured her, "Don't worry, Mom. Maybe her brother is playing some games with her. I know he won't fall for her trap, especially considering she's our stepsister. Lisa is just nothing to him. If he's doing something, maybe he has thought about it."

Jennie's words gave Verna a momentary pause. She continued the conversation with Jennie before ending the call, contemplating what she could do about Lisa.

As her husband entered the room, Verna greeted him, walking towards him and inquiring, "Dear, did your deal go well?" Mr. Kim nodded, offering a smile as he settled onto the couch, responding, "It was good, Verna, but I need to go to Thailand tomorrow because of work."

Verna, cleverly saddening her face, settled down beside him and expressed, "Oh, that's so sad. But don't worry; I'll take care of our kids. I also want to share something with you. Jennie is happy in her new life; she called me, and she's now on a world tour with her husband." Mr. Kim proudly smiled and replied, "That's very nice to hear. Well, I'll talk to her after a while."

Verna, imposing her desire to remove Lisa from the mansion and Taehyung's life, continued, "I am worried about Lisa. Even though she's not my blood, I love her more than Jennie. I just want my princess Lisa to get married to her prince charming. I want to see my Lisa happy."

Verna's words carried a subtle but potent agenda, hinting at her intentions regarding Lisa and her son. Mr. Kim proudly gazed at Verna, buying into her fabricated story aimed at eliminating Lisa to avoid potential complications with her son.

He expressed, "I am so happy to be married to you, Verna. You always care about Lisa and uphold our family rules, regulations, and reputation. I was never that strict with my kids, but you have shown me that a second chance can be given, even though I love Lisa, Mother. You've proven to me that you prioritize us and our family's reputation."
