Ch. 41 - Rough Yet Gentle

Vivian POV

My head was spinning all morning in everything Niko. I felt safe in his arms and burst in pure pleasure under his command in bed. I tried focusing on the gardens or kids, but I was in a haze.

Surprisingly, Vanessa found us to offer a tour. She heard I like gardening and some women even mentioned how magical mine was at Niko's house. We spoke for a while and I knew she was only fishing for information about my beast.

I didn't let jealousy overcome me though. I answered her questions and led her on to believe she had a chance. Besides, if she threw herself at Niko, it was his choice if he accepted it. At lunch Vanessa spoke with the kids about school until Niko walked in. He was his same bruting self but there was less tension in his body.
