I left my room, not before checking that I had everything with me. My knives included. I met up with Silas and Luca in the living room and was met with a sight.

"Hey, we need to get school supplies and also some clothes for Natalia since..." Luca trailed off. Since I left.

I nodded. "That works. Thanks for tagging along. Also hey, is it alright if I used my own car?"

Silas cocked an eyebrow. "You have a car?"

I grinned. "Yup! Andreas got it shipped from Russia." My baby.

Both Silas and Luca let out a hum. And thus, we set off for the shopping journey. Silas and Luca were in the one car but I was in my very own, sexy, car. As we approached the red light, I couldn't help but to think of  an idea.

Rolling down my window, I signalled to Silas to do the same.

"Wanna race?" I asked, unable to hide the small smirk on my face.

"Are you sure about that?" A grin spread across Silas's face. He was a street-racer after all.

I nodded eagerly. When the lights turned green, I surged ahead, the only thing left behind was a trail of smoke. And their car hot on my heels.

This is what it feels like to be free.

As I pulled into the parking lot, I glanced in the rearview mirror to see Silas' car pulling up behind me. Your ass just got beat by your little sister. As we stepped out of the car, both Silas and Luca were already staring at me.

"I can't believe you beat me!" Silas was in disbelief.

Luca on the other hand was admiring me. Who wouldn't? "You are so good..."

I shrugged, trying so hard to suppress the smirk that was tugging at the side of my lips.

This felt nice. I thought as we entered the mall only to be met with subtle gazes and whispers from surrounding people. I wasn't surprised. The Romanos were definitely known around here, and of course people would be curious as to why a girl is walking alongside them.

Despite all the gazes, we carried on with our trip. Getting all the essentials to prepare myself until the sound of a rumbling stomach interrupted us.

"What was that?" I asked, glancing to my brothers.

"My stomach..." Luca admitted sheepishly, his face flushing red.

"Why don't we go get food? Perhaps some burgers?" I suggested. I was hungry too.

With eager nods from both of them, all of us went to a nearby burger shop before ordering our respective menus.

"Don't steal my fries, you idiot!" I slapped Silas' hands away.

"That hurts!" he pouted. I rolled my eyes at his dramatics. What a crybaby.

I went back to scrolling on my phone, keeping up with the latest news as well as celebrity gossip. Occasionally chiming in Luca and Silas' conversation when it got too heated. What? I love drama.
