I let out a sigh of exasperation when the dim lights flicker off. The sun is already setting, leaving the serpents of the dingy blaze to slither through the clouds and illuminate our floor.

It's cold enough in this abandoned office, providing no warmth, and worse enough, I'm wearing a half-sleeve.

I can't save myself from this hellhole (and Leah) because my data doesn't fucking work. It's always working but decides to not work when I'm stuck in a cold ass building. It's probably the weather, to be fair.

And, of all times, Leah had to come whilst I was with Eva?

God, I need about 5 bottles of whiskey to deal with her.

And Eva being the nasty harlot she is, runs away and locks me in here with Leah. I doubt she knew Leah was even here and she wanted to trap me on this floor, alone.

She probably envisioned me sobbing and screaming in frustration for her to unlock the door. Maybe old Nathan would do that.

New Nathan wishes he could smash through the wall like the Kool-Aid man.

I'd rather be stuck here alone than have Leah's disdainful presence around me.

Plus, Eva's turned off the lights.

Or it's the shitty weather...probably Eva.

"Why the fuck have the lights gone off?" I hear Leah mutter, heading over to the fuse box that is rooted to the wall next to the door. Her boots sound against the filthy marble of the floor mixed with her moody sigh.

Before opening the box, she kicks the locked door angrily and grunts when it doesn't open.

An amused chuckle escapes me at her failed attempt and Leah whips her head around to glare at me. "It was worth a try." She raises her brows, giving me an accused look.

I shake my head, watching her as she turns her head away from me and opens the fuse box to take a look.

If I couldn't fix the lights or open the door, how does she expect herself to do it?

I've probably said this so many times but I hate her.

I don't know why. I tell myself that she's done nothing wrong to me but something is stopping me from being nice.
