Recap: Leah had gotten a picture on her doorstep and she showed it to everybody else. Assumingly, she thinks she has a stalker so the track talks about it but Cora recommends that Leah should live with Nathan...

Cora had definitely made me worry for no reason and in fact, I am not going to live with Nathan.

What she meant was that his rich fucking ass has a spare apartment that I can live in. Thankfully, I'm not neighbours with Nathan or anything but he lives locally.

It's not like he's going to come and save the day like some sort of fucking knight in shining armour.

Anyways, back to what I was saying. The apartment is no doubt better than my own but that's only for me to know.

I mean, it's an apartment at the fucking Royale: expensive, high-end and prestigious flats.

And the place is fucking gorgeous.

Ceiling-to-floor windows in the living room which give me a luxurious view of the city and the streets. Sleek and clean marble countertops with a glossy finish. A fucking walk-in shower which has enough room to do a whole workout. And a huge bedroom suited for a one-of-a-kind queen.

Everything is monotone but the apartment isn't dull or empty or boring.

I can't help but wonder what Nathan's actual place would look like...

I don't know how long I'll be here for but Nathan says that he'd install cameras around my apartment so he can check the surveillance footage after and see who has been leaving me these little 'gifts'.

I'd have to go back to my apartment from time to time, so the stalker (or 'Jill' as Max had said) thinks I'm still living there.

I asked Nathan why he's helping me and he said that he's only doing it because Max and Cora say so. Otherwise, he would've let me get kidnapped and stalked.

He didn't say that last bit but I'm probably right.

Enough of Nathan now, you look like you're obsessed with him.

I haven't fully settled down in the apartment yet but I've got out all my basic necessities so now I can move on to what's at the top of my list.

Playing the CD.

Cora suggested I play the CD (I had to buy a brand new CD player) and see if it's something else other than my guitar songs. I'm surprised Cora suggested something that would honestly help me.

I plop down onto the edge of the bed, feeling myself sink down into the soft foam of the mattress as I kick my legs up and cross them. The plush of the duvet cushions my short-clad legs and I can't help but lay down and snuggle against the covers. I click the CD onto the small white stand and turn it on.
