There is a land flourishing with vegetation. Animals grazing all around going on with their daily lives in the circle of life.
Soon crying was heard through the beautiful and once peaceful Serene getting the attention of many but only one animal choose to investigate.
This animal was a lioness who was leading her hunting party in search of the right prey. The lioness's cream fur shone as she got closer to the sound. Blue eyes scan the grass and fell upon a small cub weeping rather loudly.
Confusion rose in the lionesses clear orbs as she looked at the cub, said cub stop crying noticing she got someone's attention. Glossy blue eyes stared up at confused ones. The cub shift her little head to get a better look at the lioness above her but ended up with her nose in a flower making her sneeze. An amused expression found its way onto the lioness's face.
"Well aren't you a cute little one" her soft voice rang out
The cub turned her gaze back to the smiling lioness staring at her with wide blue eyes.
"Hm where are your parents? It's very irresponsible of them to leave you here" her calm soft voice fill the air once again as she looked and sniffed around.
Locking her gaze back on the still stirring cub and after a while she sighed.
"Well guess you're coming with me" and with that the cub was off the ground and was being held in the air by her scruff.
The lioness turned on her paws and walk further into the beautiful land. After walking for a short amount of time a small group of lioness came into their view conversing with each other but as soon as they saw them coming they stood up as one step forward.
"Your majesty did you find the problem?" She said before all their eyes landed on the small cub in her Jaws and they all gasped.
"Wait! A cub? Where is its parents?" Another question surface as they came closer to the two.
The talking stopped as the lioness who was holding the cub cleared throat and sat the cub down.
"Yes as you can see I have found a cub but as for the parents I am unsure but we can't leave her alone out here. Especially with zira and outlanders around" a low growl erupt from the lioness throat has she said the last sentence.
"So what are we going to do with her?" Another lioness said
"I'm taking her in" gasps echoed after each other as the lioness I said this calmly.
"Unless one of you are willing to take care of her?" All the lioness gave wary looks shaking their head not ready to take care of a cub.
"Well then it's settled" and the cub was once again and picked up already asleep by this point.
"I wonder what the king will think about this" a lioness said as they try to walk back to their home.
"NO!" A loud roar shook the rocks that made up the weird foundation that the lionesses is called home.
"Simba-"
"No Nala! You just had two cubs yourself why are you taking up yet another one!?"
After the lionesses reached they reported to the king and told him everything and he immediately disagreed with his mate fostering a cub that does not belong to them. But the cream furred lioness was not having it.
"So? You want me to leave her to let the outlanders take advantage of her? Well if that's so you're wrong. I will be keeping her whether you will agree or not" not once did she raise her voice but all heard knew she did not have to.
"And why can't the other lionesses take her?"
"I'm keeping her Simba" her blue eyes pierced into red ones almost daring him to refuse her.
"Fine. But she is your responsibility. Make sure she doesn't get in your way of queen" that said he walked off.
The lioness sighed before looking down at the cub that she will be calling her own.
"I know your going to be a wonderful lioness......Ayana" she smiled at the name she gave her new daughter.
