Ayana yawned as she woke up she curled out of herself as she opened her eyes expecting to her at pride rock. Realization it her and she flopped back down on the ground groaning.
Hearing something approach she turned her head and saw Hasani walking in while dragging a wild beast. Dropping it her looked up and saw her.
"Good morning. Had a good nap?" All she did was nod and turn back to the wall sulking. Hasani raised a brow at this.
"You ok?" He mused looking at her pouting expression she shook her head as he got closer.
"Now don't tell me you don't like wilde beast?" He asked sitting behind her as she was still turned to the wall.
"Its not the food don't worry" Ayana sighed again.
"Look I'm not going to know the problem if you don't tell me. I'm trying to help here" hasani groaned making the princess look at him.
"Im just not hungry this morning" the male pressed his mouth in a line looking down a her.
"Your home sick aren't you?" He deadpanned.
"...." The lion sighed and took piece of the meat and put it in front of her.
"Whatever is wrong with you isn't gonna stop you from eating. I saved you from dieing by water not so you can die by starving. Eat" looking down at the meat the lioness bit it munching on it.
"See was that so hard? Come on eat more" ayana glared at him.
"What are you my mom?" Hasani huffed
"I might as well be if you acting like a cub" which received a eyes roll from her as she got up and ate the beast.
After finishing their breakfast Ayana took time to check her injuries while giving herself a bath.
"Let's go" Hasani said walking to the cave opening. Ayana looked at him confused.
"Uh?" Hasani looked at her and sighed.
"Don't you want to go home? If so then let's go. If you start now you reach in now time" Ayana eyes widen.
"You know where to go?" She ran up to him hopefull.
"No of course not." The princess deadpanned.
"But if we look from where you fell in the river we can possibly find the route" ayana's eyes shimmered.
"Really!"
"No. Hopefully"
"Whatever let's go!"
The princess ran out the cave and towards the river with a shouting Hasani behind.
"Your still injured!"
Reaching the river she looked at him like saying "what now?" The male sighed and looked down stream and walked away with Ayana following.
"Do have any memories that might help us?" The princess thought for a sec.
"All I remember if after I was pushed in my father tried to reach for me but I fell down a waterfall-"
"Bingo" hisani cut her off making her confused.
"What?"
"You fell down a waterfall so all we have to do is find the waterfall connected to this river" Ayana eyes sparkled.
"Your really good at this" hisani shook his head holding it up high.
"I am a rouge" Ayana just looked borely at him.
"Just don't get me lost Mr rouge" this made hisani glare at her.
"Are you doubting me?" He narrowed his eyes.
"Of course not" she said sarcastically.
"How rude to someone helping you" the male huffed making her giggle.
They walked following the stream occasionally stopping to rest or eat. The duo bickered at times when Ayana starts to tease him.
Hisani stopped suddenly on alert making Ayana tense.
"What's up?" She asked as he sniffed the air.
"We are near hyena territory. How the hell are you still alive?" He asked eyes wondering around.
"Hisani w-what do you mean?"
"What Im trying to say is. You while on the verge of death somehow past this territory without them noticing you. We have to go" hisani turned towards the river and walked near the bank with Ayana near him.
"Try to not make any sound. They might be near" he slowly walked around the land.
"Who might be near-"
"Shh!"
Hisani dragged Ayana in the river behind a rock as a group of spotted hyenas came into view.
"I could have sworn I heard something over hear" one said.
"Idiot use your nose!" Another slapped him.
"That's enough. Let's go"
Hisani exhaled and dragged himself out of the water with Ayana. The princess slowed her breathe and tried to calm down.
"Hurry we gotta go" hisani whispered and they started to walk around trying to find the waterfall.

Three shadows came from behind a tree watching the two wet but fast lions quietly make their way past the territory.
"We have just found our selves wet kitties for dinner" one gigged as the other two laughed before they disappeared.

Ayana was tired after just running for their lives they were exhausted. Hisani saw this and stopped exhaling.
"Let's get some rest" those were the words Ayana needed to hear as she fell flat on the ground heavily breathing.
Hisani drank some water from the stream they've been following to quench his thirst. After he went and joined Ayana on the ground.
"How far did you even float?" He asked closing his eyes.
"I do not know. I wasn't even awake" the princess sighed rolling onto her side.
"Your a lucky lion let me tell you" hisani said
"No need to. I know"
The two said there not know how far they have to go or how long it will take but what they did know was that they wanted to sleep but with such a dangerous territory nearby they didn't have time for that.
So the duo got up and traveled a little longer hoping that they could find a place to rest with out trouble.
This wasn't really what I planned to do but since I did all of this in one day I just did what came to mind it might not be the best out of the litter but it's something 😀✋🏾
