All was fine in the pride lands not one thing changed. The animals were still happy the land was still beautiful but I guess one thing had changed and that was the royal family.

The animals and lioness's in the pride lands accepted the new cub with ease but the king didn't he mostly prioritized his two cubs Kiara and kopa who were the royal twins with Kopa being the heir.

Just like her father Kiara did not like her adopted sister Ayana who got most of her mothers attention but just like his mother, Kopa loved and adored his little sister not caring if she was adopted or not.

Ayana though being a cub knew that her father and sister did not like her and to be honest she was fine with that. With the love she got from her mom and brother why would she need theirs? And just like how Nala predicted she was growing up to be a kind and beautiful cub who followed all the rules along side her brother and making sure she didn't give any trouble but Kiara on the other paw was adventurous and troublesome wanting to explore despite the dangers.

Ayana just wished she didn't have to deal with her constant nagging and whining.

(I'm not hating on Kiara it's for the plot 😭)

Ayana followed nala's very move even going as far as copying her personality making animals think shes actually her daughter.

Today Simba took Kopa and Kiara, for some reason to learn what it means to be a good king so Ayana was left with her mom who was talking to the lioness on the grooming rocks so she went and joined her.

"Hi mom. Hello everyone" she greeted politely with her ever so cute voice making all the lioness coo at her.

"Hello princess Ayana" They chimed making her smile at them.

"Hello dear" Nala said taking her up in her paws and licking her.

"How was your night?" Ayana purred at her mom's affection before responding.

"It was great as always mom but now I have nothing to do" Nala nodded as she gave her a short bath.

"In a few minutes me and the lioness are going to hunt want to come along?" Ayana looked at her mother confused and excited.

She was exactly supposed to leave to cave so hearing her mother inviting her to watch her hunt is exciting.

"Don't worry I'm with you so you can leave the cave" Nala said almost reading her mind.

"Oh? Well of course" ayana's tail swayed showing her excitement.

"Well let's get ready"

Ayana was now with some lioness as her mother pointed out their prey. She watched as the lioness separated into groups going for a different animals. Her mother then turned to her.

"Now I won't be long and I won't be far ok?" Ayana nodded before watching Nala run off but not before giving her a small lick on the cheek.

Ayana stood still ears up in alert incase of anything and looked in the direction of the hunting party seeing her mother leading her part. It wasn't long before she heard rustling in the bushes behind her getting her attention.

Getting on guard Ayana looked around and waited soon someone jumped at her trying to pin her but came up short when Ayana jumped out the way and tackled and pinned them to the ground.

"Kopa" she said with a smirk making the elder groan.

"Why can't I pin you" he said getting up after Ayana came off.

"I think you already know the answer to that Kopa" she said shaking her fur of any dirt.

"Yeah yeah-"

Kopa! Kopa!" A loud voice came making them cringe and out came Kiara.

"Look daddy I found him! Told you I could" she said standing proudly as Simba came out.

"Well done princess-" his eyes landed on Ayana who was beside Kopa looking at them.

"Why are you out the cave? Didn't I forbid you" he growled while Kiara smirked

"Kopa here right now. I told you to stay away from her" he continued but Kopa didn't move.

"You haven't told me why you disobeyed me!" Simba turned his attention back to Ayana.

"Because I brought her" a familiar calm voice said and Nala walked towards them with the lioness having their meal.

"Is there a problem?" Ayana sighed in relief as she went to her mother's side.

"Hey mom!" Kopa said going towards her.

"Hello dear how are you" she nuzzled her eldest lovingly

"I'm fine"

"Hm Kopa do you mind telling me what happened?" Nala asked as her attention went back to Simba.

"Oh. I saw Ayana standing alone here when we were taking a break so I went to her trying to tackle her but she ended up pining me.....again.

Then Kiara came shouting with dad here who saw Ayana and was asking or demanding why she was out the cave telling me to not go near her"

Kopa finished looking at Kiara who was glaring at him but he glared right back.

"Mommy it's not fair you treat her so much better than me when I'm your actual daughter" she said glaring at Ayana.

"Simba I'm going to ask you to stop treating Ayana like this and she may not be your daughter but still" Kiara was still glaring at Ayana while Simba ignored her request

"Let's go ladies. Come ayana and kopa your free to come if you like. After I get this to the cave me and Ayana is going to watch to sunset want to join?"

"Yes!" Kopa ran behind his mother tackling Ayana in the process but was yet again pinned. The two ran behind the lionesses laughing.

Kiara watched her twin brother play with someone that isn't even their sister and he looks happier than when she was playing with him a while ago.

"Daddy why do you hate Ayana?" She asked looking at her father.

"Because she is no cub of mine and I will not treat her as such" Kiara looked back at her mother and the other two.

If she is thinking back Ayana never did anything to her. Kiara just wanted to make Simba proud so she did what he did but was she right?

Of course she was if her father hated her then she should too because that's how it works...
