Tim had just arrived home and was sitting in the living room, completely silent. He had been in a state of shock for several minutes after witnessing something that had left him deeply disturbed. As he sat there, he was lost in thought, contemplating his next move. Should he confront his wife right away or wait for her to come home? Or maybe he should just let her think that she had gotten away with it.

He remained lost in thought until he heard a loud thud coming from upstairs, followed by the sound of something being thrown into the hallway. His brows furrowed in confusion as he wondered what could be happening.

His heart immediately began to beat faster, his hands balled together in a tight grip and he felt an intense wave of anger wash over him the moment that he heard the sound of something hitting the floor. He knew what that meant, he knew that something was going to be waiting for him in the hallway, and yet he still felt completely unprepared. As he walked in he was greeted with a pile of his clothes and their cat sat on the corner stair, looking up at him in confusion.

He stared down at the pile of his clothes and he was unable to speak for a long moment. He didn't know how to react to what he was seeing, the sight of his clothes in that pile immediately filled him with anger and confusion. He let his eyes move to the cat, who looked up at him with the same confused look that he had, the poor animal having no idea what was going on or what to do.

He looked up again at the pile and he felt the anger growing inside of him, but he was so confused by what he was facing that he was at a loss for what to say or how to act. More clothes continued to be thrown down the stairs, Tim now knowing who was the source of all was.

"Dolly?" he asked, his tone shaky with what felt like a mix of anger and hurt as he looked up at the top of the stairs, still unable to fully accept what was going on.

"Dolly!" he called again, his voice now sounding more urgent as the clothes continued to fall down the stairs, the sight of it all was becoming more real with every moment that passed.

"And you can take this too," She shouted as she began to throw even more items down the stairs, photo albums, the rest of his clothes and his toothbrush.

"What are you doing?" he cried out, his tone no longer shaky but instead growing increasingly angrier with every moment that passed, he watched as more and more of his things started to come crashing down the stairs, hitting the floor with a bang each time.

"Cheating on me, after everything I did for you?" She laughed hysterically as he could hear the sounds of previously open drawers now being slammed shut.

He couldn't bear it any longer, he took several steps up the stairs, he needed to see her face to believe what he thought was happening.

His body froze immediately as he saw the sight that awaited him, the room was filled with the belongings from his dresser, the drawers were all open and the contents scattered randomly across the room, the only items that remained were the ones that had fallen down the stairs.

Nothing was broken, and none of his fragile belongings had been damaged, she wasn't that petty, but she was seething with anger.

He stared around the room, taking in the sight of the disaster that she had made of his room. Despite her anger though, she had been kind enough not to break any of his possessions, the only damage to his belongings came in the form of them being discarded into the room.

His hand tightened into a fist, his body filled with a rage that he'd never felt before. "You're throwing everything I own out of the room?" he finally managed to say.

"Go move in with that woman you're seeing," She replied, stopping what she was doing and pointing at him with pure anger.

"You're delusional," he replied, the anger in her tone only fuelled his own internal rage even more, he could barely believe what was happening in front of him currently.
