Yadathan and Zuriel were resting.

The Angels lying on the mound between Yggdrasil and The First River.

The glowing multicolored leaves twinkled and shined like stars.

The blue river glowed as if flowing with pure neon, covering their bodies in blankets of light.

"Brother, do you think we have a purpose beyond this?" Zuriel asked.

"I'm not sure if we do or don't. But whatever our purpose is, I am lucky and grateful that I get to share it with you." Yadathan replied.

Zuriel smiled as she stared up.

Around them was a dark dome. Universes floating around as their own night sky. Each bubble, a whole new collection of worlds and lives.

As they stared together at their own personal sky, a leaf slowly fell from its branch.

A twinkling leaf of green light that danced around in the darkness, spinning and flipping before landing on Yadathan's chest.

Yadathan reached down and grabbed the leaf, holding it above his face and stares at it.
His face dropped.

"Um...this can't be good...right?" He asked.

Zuriel turned to see the leaf, her face dropping just like his.

"I'm...not sure what that means..."

Raguel said, standing in the mountains.

Gabriel and Michael were holding a rock, symbols and letters carved into it.

"We created an alphabet. Language to record and collect our thoughts and history for the rest of time." Gabriel said.

Raguel crossed her arms and looked at Michael, who shrugged.

"He needed help with creating some of the symbols. He wouldn't shut up so I caved in." Michael responded.

Raguel laughed while Raphael and Remiel walked over together.
"What's this?" Raphael asked.

"Language...or something." Raguel replied.

Gabriel groaned.

"It's called an alphabet! It can be used to create words, so that way history can be recorded for future generations!" Gabriel said.

Raphael slightly tilted his head while staring at it.

"It looks..." Raphael started.

"That's a lot of triangles." Raguel interrupted.

"What do these mean?" Remiel asked.

"It's letters. From left to right, it gets put together to form words." Gabriel complained.

Michael turned to look at it.
"Left to right? I thought it was right to left." Michael replied.

Gabriel looked at the stone and ran his finger over the letters.

"No way. You're crazy." Gabriel said.
The siblings all began to talk over each other, impossible to hear anything.

Not even their own voices.

"Can you please just shut up?"
Ash-Shaytān asked, looking completely disheveled while one hand covered his face and the other waved towards Azrael.

"My apologies Brother." Azrael replied, his voice sounding full of pain.

Ash-Shaytān aggressively rubbed his head and sighed, shutting his tired eyes.

"Fuck...I am so tired." Ash-Shaytān said.
