Remiel was standing alone, her wings no longer extending out of her scarred back. She was standing next to her child Hadi, who was finally old enough to stand on his own.
He stared out with wide eyes full of wonder and curiosity.
Remiel was dressed in leaves, tied together over her body with vines to create a very elaborate and conservative dress.
Hadi only had leaves around his waist, leaving his torso uncovered.
They both stood surrounded by forest land with hundreds, if not thousands, of trees standing tall.
They looked up at the night sky full of stars that twinkle like a tapestry of shining lights that filled them both with relaxation and happiness.
"How do you feel?" Remiel asked.
Hadi just continued to stare at the sky. His body was young and small, but his mind was very clearly mature and intellectual. His face was clearly deep in thought.
"I quite enjoy the garden we created. I believe it will last for millennia." She said, reaching out.
As she did, the branches of the nearest tree began to bend and reach out to her. Brushing against her palm and fingers as she smiled.
"This forest is very lovely. I hope that Humans will appreciate and take care of it." Hadi said.
Remiel smiled.
"I will let you name it. You helped me create it to protect us." Remiel said.
She looked up at the purple sky and dark clouds floating around to sometimes block out the shining balls of light and life.
An ever changing and evolving sky.
"If this is the way that we will spend the rest of our days and nights, I can live my life happily. This feels nice." Remiel said.
"Will we ever need to worry about being discovered? Will people ever try to hurt us?" Hadi asked.
"I wish I could tell you, but I don't know. I don't know where they are or if they're coming. But if they do, they won't hurt us. And we won't hurt them." Remiel said.
"How do you know they won't hurt us?" Hadi asked.
"I won't let them. I will protect you with my life." Remiel replied.
"Thank you Mother. I believe you and your promise." Hadi said.
Remiel smiled proudly, beginning to walk forward as the branches of the trees and other plant life like flowers and berries moved to reach out towards her with every step.
Hadi began to follow after, the vines at the base of the trees doing the same for him.
"This world seems to love you mother. The nature of it all being drawn to you is so...beautiful." Hadi said.
Remiel looked like she was thinking as she looked around.
"Mother...Nature...I like that name." Remiel said.
Hadi tilted his head.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
Remiel looked over her shoulder at him with a smile.
"Mother Nature. A title that would make my Father proud." She said.
"What was Father like? You have told me many stories about your Father, but not mine." Hadi said.
Remiel smiled wide, becoming full of love and remembering positive memories.
"He was a very loving and caring man. Somebody who made sure to always know that I was loved. He devoted all of his attention and time to you once you were born. He did anything and everything to make you the happiest child in the entire world. Our whole family did." Remiel replied.
