Ash-Shaytān was standing alone.

Under his feet were incredibly clean and clear water as reflective as a mirror.

Above him, a beautiful and bright blue sky with white clouds all over.

The water beneath him reflected it all, making it look like he was standing on the sky itself.

The sun shined down and added warmth to the peaceful and tranquil landscape.

Ash-Shaytān was no longer able to use magic.

He was dressed in a white robe that hid the incredibly thin and frail body underneath. He looked down at his face in the water.

Clean and young. Looking fully refreshed and rejuvenated.
Ash-Shaytān reached up, rubbing his smooth cheeks.

"I know you are here. Show yourself." He said softly.

He lifted his gaze and turned around, staring right at the Grand Angel.

Taking on his previous form. Sitting in his throne in a white robe with long brown hair and beard that went past his chest.

He stared with a look of love and care at Ash-Shaytān.

"Son." God said.

"Father." Ash-Shaytān replied.

"It is lovely to see you again. At least how I remember you. How I know you want to be." God replied.

"Funny. Your words and your actions are always at odds. You are a bigger hypocrite than I am. Honestly...it feels like you are what you told my Brothers and Sisters I am." Ash-Shaytān said.

God continued to smile softly, not reacting to the words.

"I am very proud of who you have become. You have overcome so much." God said.

Ash-Shaytān smirked, turning to look at the endless expanse off to the side.

"Spare me with your lies. Why did you bring me...here?" Ash-Shaytān asked.

God rose to his feet, the throne staying in place.

"You are consumed by grief and by power. You took charge. Took my place. And what happened?" God asked.

Ash-Shaytān's face twitched.
His rage built more and more.

"You were responsible for the Universe nearly ending. You did not maintain it or care. You lead to all of your Brothers and Sisters being slaughtered. You have destroyed your home multiple times. You are not worthy of power or success! You are a failure!" God shouted.

Ash-Shaytān fell to his knees, bursting into tears. Sobbing uncontrollably while his tears fell into the water beneath him, causing ripples and circles to expand out forever. Disappearing off into the distance.

"All I wanted...was to prove you wrong. To show you that your distance would doom this Universe into a slow death...and yet I failed. I have to admit that...you are right." Ash-Shaytān said.

God approached his Son, putting his hands on his shoulders.

"You are one of my children. I will love you and support you whatever you do, but I will also let you know if you ever make any mistakes." God replied.

Ash-Shaytān kept his eyes closed, his head down towards the ground, and his arms hanging low.

God began to give his shoulders a tense and tight massage.

"I...I am not...a failure." Ash-Shaytān whispered.

God sighed.

"You are destined to be who you are. You should not attempt to move away from that fate. You will grow into a new person. You will change and evolve. There is no shame in that. But do not try to control everything. That will only make you suffer more disappointment and pain. You can't change how things become." God said.

Ash-Shaytān opened his eyes, staring at his own sadness filled face in the reflection of the ocean beneath him.

"You have so much power...and yet you don't do anything with it." Ash-Shaytān said.

"If I use all of my power...I am going against my own morals. I could easily turn this Universe into anything that I wish, but that is not what deserves to happen. The Universe must be free to do as it wishes. It is a force, but alive much like us. A Universe to evolve and change like us. Do you understand what I am saying my Son?" God asked.

"Yes Father. I understand." Ash-Shaytān said.

"But you and your misguided mistakes has made the Universe too far damaged. I must rebuild it all in order to correct the alterations. To stabilize the flow of time and space that would otherwise tear all of existence into shreds." God said.

"What about...the others?" Ash-Shaytān said.

God fell silent, staring off blankly.

"I must tell you the truth my Son. You are...the only one who I have informed about the other Universes." God said.

Ash-Shaytān's face twisted to confusion as it lifted higher, staring at God's throne sitting on water.

"I...I am..." Ash-Shaytān stuttered and stumbled.

"The others have become increasingly curious. Often spending their time philosophizing about what exists beyond our known world. But you are the only one who I have told about the certainty." God said.

Ash-Shaytān swallowed hard.

"I can not go further in detail. Doing so would lead to...changes in the future. I need to repair what I can." God said, moving to stand in front of Ash-Shaytān.

He closed his eyes and began to hold his arms out.

"Wait." Ash-Shaytān quickly said.

God opened his eyes to stare at his Son.

"Rebuild everything to survive and be left alone...but...I have a deal I would like to make." Ash-Shaytān said.

"What is your deal my Son?" God asked.

Ash-Shaytān took a deep breath in and out.

"Bring back all of my Brothers and Sisters. Revive them all to live in The Pantheon. But do not put me in charge. I will return to my land of banishment, and live as if I had never left." Ash-Shaytān said.

God gave a warm and loving smile.

"I will see what I can do." God replied.

Ash-Shaytān smiled, closing his eyes and beginning to turn his head up towards the sky.

Staring with pure acceptance and warmth.

The entire vast landscape was suddenly replaced with golden light that became brighter and brighter, consuming both figures and everything around them.

The light faded, revealing God standing alone in the same vast expanse.
Not even his throne there anymore.

Clouds floating aimlessly in the sky while he stood on top of the water that perfectly reflected everything.

"Now...we begin."
