In the quiet of the night, as snow softly fell,

A jolly figure appeared, a tale to tell.

His eyes twinkled with mischief, his cheeks rosy red,

With a hearty laugh, he approached the homestead.

His sack full of wonders, gifts for young and old,

Bringing joy and wonder, his stories untold.

Though doubts may linger, and worries may rise,

In his presence, all troubles seem to disguise.

For in that moment, laughter fills the air,

And hearts are lifted from burdens they bear.

So I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself,

For his spirit of kindness, the greatest of wealth.
