𝟮𝟬. ❛WILTED BLOOM❜

In the depths of my soul, I sowed you deep,

Your roots entwined, a bond I couldn't keep.

At first, discomfort, as you took your place,

But soon I embraced your silent grace.

I shaped you, molded you, to fit my will,

Pruned your petals, hoping for a thrill.

Wrapped myself around you, tight and close,

Yet, in my embrace, love never arose.

Blamed you for my wounds, when thorns did prick,

Perhaps my own hand caused the fatal trick.

In barren soil, your life did fade,

Yet still, I tended, though all hope had strayed.

But love, like flowers, withers and dies,

Leaving behind tears, unanswered whys.

No happy ending, just wilted bloom,

In the garden of love, there's only gloom.
