In the night's tender grasp, I stand alone,
Beneath the gaze of the silver throne.
Moonstruck, my heart in silent ache,
Longing for a love it cannot forsake.
In her luminous glow, I find solace deep,
Yet, in her beauty, lies a sorrow to keep.
For she mirrors my longing, my endless plight,
Aching in shadows, yearning for light.
Her gentle beams caress my skin,
But cannot heal the wounds within.
For love's sweet touch, I endlessly yearn,
In the moon's embrace, I silently mourn.
A silent witness to lovers' vows,
She listens as my heart quietly bows.
Moonstruck, I dwell in this bittersweet trance,
Lost in love's melancholic dance.
Oh, how cruel this celestial affair,
To love a beauty beyond compare.
Yet, in her distant, cold embrace,
I find a reflection of my own grace.
Moonstruck, I'll linger, lost in her glow,
Aching for a love I'll never know.
In the quiet of night, I'll silently swoon,
Forever bound to the sorrow of the moon.
