Chapter 10 : Homecoming

Theo walked through the door of Charlie's house, his mind still reeling from the revelations of the day. Despite the weight of the secrets he now carried, there was a sense of relief in knowing that he wasn't alone—that he had someone like Rosalie to lean on in times of need.

As he stepped into the living room, Theo was met with the sight of Charlie sitting on the couch, his expression filled with concern. Without a word, Charlie stood up and enveloped Theo in a tight embrace, his arms a comforting presence around him.

"I'm so sorry, Theo," Charlie murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "I should have never let Bella speak to you like that. It was unforgivable."

Theo felt a lump form in his throat as he returned Charlie's embrace, the weight of his uncle's words hitting him like a ton of bricks. Despite everything that had happened, Charlie was still there for him, offering him love and support in his time of need.

"It's okay, Uncle Charlie," Theo said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know you did your best."

Charlie pulled back slightly and looked into Theo's eyes, his expression filled with regret. "I promise, Theo, I'll make it up to you. I'll talk to Bella and make sure she understands how wrong she was."

Theo nodded, grateful for Charlie's reassurance. He knew that it wouldn't be easy to mend the rift between him and Bella, but with Charlie's support, he felt like they could at least begin to heal.

As they sat together in the dimly lit living room, Theo felt a sense of peace wash over him. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, he knew that he had a family who loved him, and that was all that mattered in the end.
