As Charlie's request hung in the air, Alice took a deep breath, her eyes distant as she delved into the memories of her past. The crackling fire provided a comforting backdrop as she began to weave the tale of her journey.

"I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, in 1901," Alice began, her voice soft yet filled with emotion. "My human name was Mary Alice Brandon, and I lived a relatively normal life until my visions started."

She paused, her gaze flickering to the flames dancing in the hearth before continuing. "My abilities manifested when I was a young girl. I started having vivid visions of the future—sometimes they were clear, and other times they were hazy and difficult to interpret."

A pang of sadness crossed Alice's features as she recalled the confusion and fear that had accompanied her newfound gift. "My family didn't understand what was happening to me. They thought I was losing my mind, so they sent me to an asylum."

Theo's heart clenched with empathy as he listened to Alice's story. He couldn't imagine the loneliness and despair she must have felt, isolated from her loved ones and trapped in a place where she didn't belong.

"But fate had other plans for me," Alice continued, her voice gaining strength as she recounted the pivotal moment that changed her life forever. "One day, while I was in the asylum, I had a vision of a man—a dark-haired stranger with beautiful, dark eyes. I couldn't see his face, but I knew he was my soulmate."

Alice's eyes sparkled with excitement as she recalled the mysterious visions that had haunted her for years. "I've never met him in person, but I catch glimpses of him in my visions from time to time. I like to think that one day, our paths will cross, and we'll finally be together."

Theo couldn't help but marvel at the bittersweet nature of Alice's story. Despite never having met her soulmate, she remained hopeful and optimistic, holding onto the belief that they were destined to be together.

"And the rest, as they say, is history," Alice concluded with a smile, her eyes shining with determination. "I may not have found my mate yet, but I've found my true family in the Cullens.

As Alice's story came to an end, a sense of awe filled the room. Her journey was a testament to the power of love and resilience, and Theo couldn't help but feel grateful to have her as a part of his family.
