As the fire crackled softly in the background, casting dancing shadows across the room, Rosalie took a deep breath and began to recount the tale of her past. Her voice was steady, but there was a hint of melancholy in her tone as she delved into the memories of her human life.

"I was born in Rochester, New York, in 1915," Rosalie began, her voice soft yet filled with emotion. "My human name was Rosalie Hale, and I grew up in a loving family with my parents and two younger brothers."

Her gaze drifted to the flickering flames as she continued. "I was considered the most beautiful girl in town, and I had everything a young woman could want—beauty, wealth, and the promise of a bright future."

But as she spoke, Theo could sense the undercurrent of sadness in her words, a reminder of the tragedy that had forever altered the course of her life.

"That all changed when I met him," Rosalie continued, her voice tinged with bitterness. "He was handsome, charming, and utterly captivating. I thought he was the answer to all my dreams."

A shadow passed over Rosalie's features as she recounted the events that led to her transformation. "But he was a monster—a cruel, violent man who took everything from me. He left me broken and bleeding in the street, and I vowed to make him pay for what he'd done."

Theo's heart ached with empathy as he listened to Rosalie's story. He couldn't imagine the pain and betrayal she must have felt, betrayed by the man she had once loved and left for dead.

"But fate had other plans for me," Rosalie continued, her voice filled with determination. "Carlisle found me on the brink of death and saved me, turning me into a vampire to spare me from a fate worse than death."

As she spoke, a sense of gratitude filled Rosalie's voice. "With my newfound strength and immortality, I was able to exact my revenge on the man who had destroyed my life. But even as I reveled in my newfound power, I couldn't shake the emptiness that lingered in my heart."
