Theo woke up the next morning to the soft light filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow over his room. Despite the events of the previous day, he felt a sense of calm wash over him as he stretched and got out of bed.

As he made his way downstairs, Theo could hear the sound of Charlie bustling around in the kitchen, the smell of coffee wafting through the air. He smiled to himself, grateful for the sense of normalcy that Charlie's presence brought to his life.

"Morning, Theo," Charlie greeted him with a warm smile as he entered the kitchen. "Sleep well?"
Theo nodded, returning Charlie's smile with one of his own. "Yeah, I did. Thanks, Uncle Charlie."

They sat down at the kitchen table and shared a quiet breakfast together, the tension of the previous day slowly melting away with each passing moment. Theo felt a sense of gratitude wash over him as he looked at Charlie, knowing that he was lucky to have someone like him in his life.

As they finished breakfast, Charlie cleared his throat and looked at Theo with a serious expression on his face. "I wanted to talk to you about something, Theo," he began, his voice soft yet filled with determination.

Theo looked at him, curiosity piqued. "What is it, Uncle Charlie?"

Charlie took a deep breath before continuing. "I spoke to Bella last night, and I made it clear to her that her behavior towards you was unacceptable. I want you to know that I won't tolerate anyone treating you like that, especially not in my house."

Theo felt a lump form in his throat as he listened to Charlie's words. Despite everything that had happened, he knew that Charlie had his back, and that meant more to him than he could ever express.

"Thank you, Uncle Charlie," Theo said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I really appreciate it."
Charlie smiled and reached out to ruffle Theo's hair affectionately. "You're family, Theo. And family sticks together, no matter what."

With those words, Theo felt a sense of warmth spread through him, banishing the last remnants of doubt and uncertainty from his mind. He knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would face them with Charlie by his side.

As they finished their conversation and prepared to face the day ahead, Theo couldn't help but feel a sense of hope stirring within him. For in that moment, he knew that no matter what trials lay ahead, he would always have a home—and a family—waiting for him, ready to embrace him with open arms. And as he looked to the future with renewed determination, Theo knew that the dawn of a new day was just beginning.
