On Christmas Eve, I woke up in Sebastián's bed feeling light and cheerful. I was excited to spend the holidays with Sebastián and looked forward to our trip to Mexico in two days. We were going to spend New Year's Eve at the street concert on Paseo de la Reforma, and then we were planning on visiting his mother in Puebla.

When Sebastián surprised me with a trip to Mexico over the summer, I had the opportunity to meet his mother, Mercedes. We'd immediately connected and stayed in touch over the months. She called me every single week to check up on me, and she wouldn't disconnect the call without telling me how happy she was that Sebastián had me in his life. I was beyond relieved to have such a wonderful addition to my life and couldn't wait to see her again.

As I slipped out of the bed, I walked toward the bathroom and noticed the gown I'd left on the floor last night. Sebastián and I had attended a holiday party hosted by the production company of his latest series and, when we'd arrived home, he couldn't wait to get me undressed. So, our clothes were littered all over the floor. Quietly, I picked up our clothes and took them into the closet. Then, I made my way into the bathroom and washed up for the morning. Walking back into the bedroom, I noticed Sebastián was still asleep so I discreetly left the room and then went about my day.

I was seated on the sofa with my legs tucked behind me, sipping on some coffee, when Sebastián entered the living room.

"Good morning, sunshine," I smiled.

He gave me a smirk and ran his hand through his hair, looking groggy. "You're a sight for sore eyes. I like seeing your smile first thing in the morning."

"Thank you," I chuckled. "Do you want some coffee?"

He shook his head and walked toward me. "Not yet. I want to snuggle with you a little first." Then, he sat down next to me, wrapped his arms around me, and tucked his head into my neck.

"Are you sniffing me?" I giggled, feeling ticklish from his closeness.

"I'm breathing you in. This is how I want to start every day."

"Okay, you freak."

"Hey," he huffed. "I'm your freak."

I turned my head and gave him a peck on his cheek. "Yes, you are. And, I love you my little freak."

"Hmm," he hummed. "I want to be so much more than that though."

"What?"

"I want to give you your Christmas gift but —before I do— I'd like to explain last year's gift to you."

"The collar?" I questioned.

"Yeah," he nodded, caressing my neck with his fingers. "I bought that for you because I wanted to see if you would wear it outside of playtime. I wanted more from you. I wanted to claim you and have you bound to me. But, I went about it the wrong way and messed everything up. I didn't mean to hurt you by buying you a collar. I'm sorry, Jenna."

I stared into his eyes, trying to understand his perspective. For most of his adult life, Sebastián didn't do relationships so I could see how he wouldn't know how to communicate his desire for a deeper relationship. Although I wouldn't mind enhancing our D/s dynamic, I wanted more commitment from him.

"I understand, Sebastián. I forgive you, but that's not what I wanted from you. I wanted to be your girlfriend. I'm happy that we eventually figured it out."

"Jenna, I have to confess that I don't want that. I don't want you to be my girlfriend."

Taken aback, I stared at him with open-mouthed shock. "I'm sorry...what?"

Sebastián released me and dropped down to kneel in front of me. "I want you to be more than my girlfriend," he said, pulling out a small jewelry box from the pocket of his sweatpants. As he opened the box, I stared, stunned, at the solitaire, diamond ring shining brightly at me.

"Oh my God," I breathed.

"Jenna, I want you to be my wife. Marry me...please."

"Oh my God," I whispered again, unable to answer him. "I don't know what to say."

"Say yes...I can't imagine my life without you. Jenna, I want to tie us together forever. I want to make the ultimate commitment to you."

With shivering hands, I reached out and cupped his face. "Yes," I said. "Yes, I want to be your wife." Then, I placed my lips over his and kissed him.

After a minute, he pulled back and smiled at me brightly. He slid the ring onto my finger and placed the empty box on the sofa. "Last Christmas I was bound for you. This year, I want you to be bound to me."

"Mhmm," I hummed. "I might be able to grant your wish." Then, I stood up and walked up the stairs and into the playroom. Sebastián hurried after me. And, for the rest of the day, he had me bound and whimpering with pleasure.

When he finally released me, he held me close and spread kisses all over my body. "You're the best Christmas gift I could have ever asked for. I love you so much, mi alma."

"I love you too, Sebastián," I sighed.

And, for the rest of our lives, we used every opportunity to prove our love for each other.
