"Seriously Aston, I saw him. Why would I lie?" I sighed, burying my head in my hands.
"I'm not saying you're lying. I just think you're imagining things." Aston replied as he walked over and sat next to me.
"But what if I am imagining things? Does that make me like, mental or something?" I looked up at him.
"No of course it doesn't," he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into his chest. "Taylor you're just shaken okay? Someone broke into your house. You need time to recover."
Maybe he was right. There was no way JB was right there, in my back garden. If he was in the area, police would have found him by now.
"Come on, let's get some sleep." said Aston, kissing the top of my head and pushing himself up off the sofa.
"Where am I supposed to sleep?" I asked.
"Um, I don't know..." he bit his lip. "I'll let you have my bed. I can sleep on the sofa."
"No." I protested immediatley. Aston looked at me, confused.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want you to be down here on your own. Ast, there's no way it's just me being targeted." I said. He sighed to himself, but he knew I was right.
"Fine. I'll come upstairs." he grabbed a blanket off the sofa and walked up the stairs towards his bedroom, trying to be as light footed as possible so he didn't wake anyone. In his room, he lay down the blankets and handed me one of his tops to sleep in. I mumbled a quick thanks and climbed into his bed, wrapping the freshly-cleaned covers around me. Aston's bed was huge, I almost felt lost in it. God knows why he needs a bed this big, he's only small.
I was just about to fall asleep when a voice woke me.
"Tay, I'm really uncomfortable." Aston slurred, obviously he'd kept waking up. "Can I come up there?"
"Yeah sure." I yawned, about to get out of the bed.
"No, stay there." he said as I felt him climb up off the floor, I couldn't see his face though. "It's big enough for both of us."
"Okay." I replied, facing the wall so I wasn't looking at him. Suddenly I felt his arm wrap around me and pull me closer to him, and that's when I was thankful he couldn't see my face - I was smiling like an idiot right now.
"Goodnight, Taylor." Aston's voice was oddly close to me, but I didn't mind.
"Goodnight."
Within seconds, I was fast asleep... Into the silence.
