Chapter 21

The bright red light flashed as it cascaded down her skin, revealing her red and black suit. Marinette opened her eyes to find her friends staring at her with blank expressions. She turned her gaze over to Adrien who was blushing, which in turn caused her to blush. Nino and Alya's expressions were almost identical. Their eyes wide and their mouths open with shock. All of a sudden, Alya smiled and started to lift the phone. Adrien saw and instantly grabbed it from her.

"Alya!" Ladybug yelled.

"I was kidding!" She laughed. "But oh my gosh! Girl! You're Ladybug! Why didn't you tell me!"

"Shhh... My parents might hear you, but... I'm sorry. I can't get into that right now. Right now, it is serious. As you can see from the news. We need to capture Hawkmoth. We know his identity now... 100%. We still don't know Mayura's." Ladybug explained.

"Rena Rouge, Carapace. We need your help."

Ladybug pulled out two miraculous and handed them to Alya and Nino. Felix looked at Alya and Nino, now knowing why she was so quick to defend Rena Rouge and Carapace earlier that day.

"You can have these until we catch Hawkmoth. You will return them to me once we catch Hawkmoth. Can I trust you both?"

"Of course girl! How is that even a question." Alya smiled.

"Always my dude!" Nino chimed in.

"Great... as for the plan... We need Chat noir and our newest partner-" Ladybug started.

"Wait... if you're Ladybug... is that why you never dated Chat noir? Because you like Adrien?" Alya winked, looking over at Adrien and Felix.

Ladybug blushed and then laughed. She smiled and looked over at Adrien nodding to him, giving him the signal. Adrien stood up and walked over beside Ladybug. Adrien opened his shirt pocket and Adrien smirked proudly.

Alya and Nino watched closely but nothing happened. Adrien looked down expecting his kwami to be present but Plagg wasn't in his shirt.

"Plagg..." Adrien called out, a little irritated.

"I'm not here! Plagg is nowhere to be seen." Plagg teased, hiding.

"Ugh... fine." Adrien laughed, pulling out a piece of cheese.

A few seconds later, the little black cat came floating toward the piece of cheese in Adrien's hand. Plagg looked up at Adrien as he started eating the cheese.

"Oh hey there Adrien. I didn't notice you wanted to transform." Plagg laughed.

"Ugh... Plagg... Claws out." Adrien groaned.

Alya and Nino's face lit up once again as they saw him transform. Ladybug rested her arm on his shoulder after he transformed, Chat noir turned his head to face her with a gentle smile.

"My lady." He smiled.

"Adrien... is Chat noir?!" Alya gasped.

"Dude! No way!" Nino said wide eyed.

"So that's why you two have been acting so weird." Alya laughed.

"Weird?" Ladybug questioned.

"Yeah dude, ever since the Ferris wheel ride."

"We got hints that you two were dating even back then... but like... something was definitely up. We didn't want to pry..." Alya smirked.

"Yeah... a lot happened." Chat said, thinking back to where Ladybug had gotten hit by Hawkmoth's secret ability.

"Hm... well... What's with him? He isn't... really reacting too much to this. He said earlier he already knew the surprise." Alya said.

"Yeah. Adrien detransformed in front of me by accident... like an idiot." Felix laughed under his breath.
