Chapter 28

"Focus! Ad-... uh... C-Cheval!" Multimouse called over, snapping him out of his thoughts.

Cheval and Viperion got back in their fighting stances about to throw another punch but saw Felix loosen his stance.

Instead of readying an attack, he was simply standing there. Multimouse turned to Felix and saw him not fighting and narrowed her eyes. Instead he walked closer, they were weary of what he was planning. All of a sudden, Felix turned around away from Cheval and Viperion and rushed off toward Lila.

"Get him! He's running away!" Multimouse called over.

Before anyone else did anything, they watched as Felix started to fight Lila instead. Eventually with being outnumbered three to one, Felix took the ring from Lila.

"W-what! You! We had a deal!" Hawkmoth growled.

Felix turned to Hawkmoth and laughed.

"I said if you won against them, didn't I? Also... since I saw Adrien tied in the chair I had no intentions of helping you." Felix smirked.

Multimouse's eyes widened and ran up to Felix.

"Is-is that true?" She asked.

Felix's eyes widened, seeing Multimouse. Flashes of Marinette popped in his mind and he just knew it was her.

"Yeah. That's the truth. I wanted to know Gabriel's plan. I assumed Gabriel thought I was the same spoiled brat from 2 years ago. I used that to my advantage. I had my suspicions of Nathalie for some time, that's... That's why I tried to keep my distance at home. That's also why I didn't want Lila to see you in the house earlier." Felix explained.

"Thank you Felix!" Multimouse said, hugging Felix.

"Y-yeah. No... problem." Felix said with a blush.

"You wretched brat! I'll make you pay for this!" He glared, gritting his teeth in anger.

Multimouse let him go but was taken aback when she saw him handing her the Ladybug Miraculous. After she took the miraculous back Felix handed her the ring from Lila.

"What about Lila? I need to go transform. Can you guys handle her until I get back?" She asked.

"We got it, don't worry." Felix winked.

"Ugh... you and your cousin are so alike. Here, give this to Cheval." She rolled her eyes.

"This is-... You got it. Leave it to me." Felix nodded.

Lila turned her head to Hawkmoth with a worrisome expression, hoping he would give her some sort of hope. Hawkmoth glanced toward Nathalie who was now rendered powerless and Felix who betrayed him. He only had Lila and himself now. Hawkmoth squeezed his fist in the air and his hand started to fill with a dark energy.

"Lila Rossi. This is your last chance at Redemption! Make this count!" Hawkmoth commanded, as the darkness from his hand flowed through the air into her.

"You got it... Hawkmoth, I won't fail this time." She smiled with a glare, looking at everyone, feeling the darkness combine with the akuma.

It washed over her almost like a dark blanket. Viperion saw and looked down at his bracelet. He took a deep breath and clicked it back, starting the five minute timer.

Multimouse ran off to detransform out of Multimouse and put her earrings in, seeing Tikki.

"Marinette! You're ok! I was so worried!" Tikki smiled.

"Tikki! I'm glad you're safe but right now, Alya and Nino are really hurt and I need to heal them fast." Marinette explained.

"You got it, Marinette. Just say the words." Tikki smiled.
