Chapter 18

"Woah, these are all...miraculous?!" Adrien smiled.

"Yep." Marinette smiled, letting them gaze at them as she held the box.

"Looks like just a plain jewelry box to me." Felix said, a little skeptical.

Marinette giggled and motioned for Adrien to pick up one. Adrien picked up the fox necklace that belonged to the fox miraculous and instantly the little fox kwami appeared.

"Hiya! The name's Trixx!" She smiled.

"Huh, interesting." Felix said, examining the necklace by taking it from Adrien and looking at the Kwami.

"Hi Trixx, did Master Fu say anything to you about leaving guardianship to me?" Marinette frowned, hoping for answers.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but no, he didn't." She frowned.

Felix handed the necklace back to Marinette and as he gave it to Marinette his face flushed red as their fingers touched one another. She quickly took it and placed it in the box, trying to avert the memory of him kissing her out of her mind, letting Trixx disappear back inside the jewelry.

She just got done telling Adrien he had nothing to worry about, though she had completely forgotten to tell him about Felix kissing her. Should she tell him? It was for the sake of the mission and the world. Marinette smiled nervously and slid a little closer to Adrien as she sat the box near Felix.

"Felix, why don't you choose a miraculous?" Marinette smiled sheepishly, trying to distract everyone from their awkward behavior.

"Wait... I get to have a miraculous?" Felix asked, a little stunned.

"Wait... before he chooses a miraculous. What was with that weird behavior just now?" Adrien said, looking at Marinette and then to Felix.

"Weird? What's weird? Weird how? I'm not being weird!" Marinette said, obviously not helping the situation.

"Marinette... tell me what happened. You're terrible at keeping secrets." Adrien said, seeing her fail miserably.

Marinette sighed and turned to look at Felix and saw his eyes widen. Felix turned away as his face turned red as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Uh... well..." She started, a little nervous. "During the Akuma fight with you, you threatened to destroy the world and we had our backs against the wall."

"I kissed her." Felix said plainly.

"What... what?!" Adrien said, eyes wide from the sudden confession.

"Marinette, is this true?" Adrien asked, turning back to her, seeing her go quiet.

"Uh... well... kinda... yeah." She said,

"Why didn't you tell me? Were you ever going to tell me?" Adrien asked, hurt.

"From everything that had gone on today, that was the last thing on my mind." She explained.

"Felix, you know she's my girlfriend. Why would you kiss her?" Adrien said, angry.

"It stopped you from destroying the world, you idiot. My plan worked, didn't it?" Felix rolled his eyes.

Adrien was about to argue but bit his tongue and took a deep breath. He remained quiet for a few seconds. Marinette wanted to reach out to him. She wanted to know what he was thinking.

"I understand. It was my fault you two were in that situation." Adrien said, getting off of the bed.

"Adrien- You're not leaving... are you?" Marinette cried out, leaning toward him, grabbing his arm.
