Chapter 14

She looked back up at her partner and saw him encased in a purple mass, worried... anxious... unsure of what to do. She was scared.

Would Bunnix come to save her again? Would the world be destroyed all over again? Think. Ladybug you need to think. You have the Cat miraculous and the Ladybug miraculous this time. Sure Adrien is Chat Blanc, but... you can give the cat miraculous to someone else to help you!

As the purple mass subsided she saw him now how she remembered him. He was Chat blanc, piercing blue eyes in a white leather suit. Ladybug looked down at Plagg who wore a worried face and bit her lip in thought. She gave Plagg a cookie, though he would normally complain... in this situation he took it without saying a single word.

"Chat noir... Chat Blanc... Please listen to me." Ladybug tried.

"Remember last time you were Chat blanc! You almost destroyed the world! You don't want to do that again, do you!"

"Ladybug. Give me the miraculous. Now." He said, almost as if he was ignoring her pleas.

"I can't do that, please. Listen to me. You blew up the entire city last time you were Chat Blanc. You didn't get the miraculous. You just destroyed everything." She explained.

It seemed like everything she was trying to explain just went out his other ear. He wasn't even wanting to listen. She looked down at Plagg as Chat blanc started walking closer to her.

"What should I do, Plagg?" She pleaded, wanting answers.

"Uh... you need a partner, don't cha? Why not try out your new trusted Ally, Felix?" He suggested.

Ladybug's eyes widened and she smiled, jumping away from Chat blanc before he could get any closer. Ladybug zipped her way to the hospital and saw Felix and Nathalie in the waiting room. Felix had his phone out texting and all of a sudden Ladybug got a text message saying that Adrien's mother was now stabilized. Ladybug smiled and let out a breath of relief and texted back for him to come outside... without Nathalie. She watched from the window, he talked to Nathalie and then made his way outside.

She walked along the top of the building and saw him look around outside for her, wondering where she was. She used her yo-yo and tied it around him and yanked him up to the top of the building toward her. She caught him and could see the "not so happy" expression he was making when she untangled him.

"What? Don't like the superhero lift?" She winked, causing him to turn his head away with a slight blush.

"An elevator to the top would have been more efficient." He said.

"Anyways... I need you to use this. Adrien... was akumatized." She started.

"Akumatized? But how- Nathalie was-" Felix said, puzzled.

"Nathalie?" Ladybug said, a little confused.

"N-nevermind... forget it." He said.

Ladybug handed Felix the cat miraculous as Plagg floated over to him.

"Just say, Plagg claws out. Your powers are Cataclysm which can destroy anything you touch. You can only use it once. After that, you have about 5 mins before you transform back." Plagg explained.

"Alright. Plagg, claws out." Felix said.

Marinette watched as Felix was encased in a burst of light. She closed her eyes and shielded her eyes, seeing that his transformation was a lot brighter than hers or Adrien's. The light dissipated after a few seconds and she opened her eyes.

Her eyes opened in shock to find the nicely groomed boy that once stood in front of her looked now more wild. He still had his same stern melancholic expression though his hair was similar to her partner's... Chat noirs. Though his hair had silver frosted tips, that emphasized his silver bell and silver trim of his suit.

It also emphasized the tip of his tail and his ears that had silver on them. His eyes were a piercing green like hers and Adrien's were when they were transformed and it seemed like he had the same abilities that they had, which were Cataclysm and the staff.

Felix turned to look at Ladybug as her face turned a bright pink.

"Is something the matter, Mari?" He smirked.

"Uh... not at all! I was just surprised at how different you... look." She said, shaking her head to get a grip.

"Do you like the way I look?" He smirked.

"I can see how you both are related." She groaned, seeing his smirk turned into irritation.

"What should we call you, cat boy?" She said. "Can't exactly call you by your name in battle."

Felix thought for a moment and then an idea sparked.

"Chat Fantôme"

"Chat Fantôme?" Ladybug looked at him questionably.

"Yeah, frosted tips... Silver bell... White tips on my ears and tail... Why not. You don't like it?" He asked.

"Uh... yeah, I do. Just... a little out of character for you is all. Very creative and unique."

"Out of character? Are you saying I'm boring!"

"Haha... uh... Let's go Fantôme!" Ladybug smiled sheepishly.

All of a sudden, an explosion was heard and they both turned their heads toward the direction it came from.

"So you know about the Cataclysm and your staff right?" She said, getting her yo-yo out and twirling it, getting into a fighting stance.

"I can say that I did keep up to date on the ladyblog, yes." He coughed trying to hide his statement as she smirked at him.

"Well good thing you did. It's coming in handy. Get ready... because here he comes."
